Description
Star Trek 50th Ann Collection Ship Blueprint Build No. 14

This is now version 2 which has been ungraded from the original version. The First 2 screenshots are the upgraded version with the rest being the previous version. What was upgraded? The neck was redesigned to match the ship model with curvatures added where it connects with the saucer section (seen in the main icon image). The top bridge section was redesigned along with saucer section lines cleaned-up.

The original posting

Welcome to Planet Coaster 24th-century! Hello all, it's time to present the newest addition to the Star Trek 50th Ann. Planet Coaster Collection with the Enterprise-D from 'Star Trek The Next Generation' featuring a high detail blueprint model of the famous iconic Galaxy-Class Starship.

About TNG
Star Trek: The Next Generation is a science-fiction television series in the Star Trek franchise created by Gene Roddenberry that ran from 1987 to 1994. ST: TNG was the first live action Star Trek television series since the original Star Trek went off the air in 1969 and ran for seven seasons. The first episode takes place in the year 2364, 99 years after the start of the five-year mission described in the original series, which began in 2265.

About Enterprise-D
USS Enterprise - NCC-1701-D is a 24th-century Galaxy-Class Starship. The Enterprise-D also appears in the pilot episode of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine ("Emissary"), the series finale of Star Trek: Enterprise ("These Are the Voyages..."), and in the motion picture of 'Star Trek Generations' where it was destyroyed. Andrew Probert, who helped update the original Enterprise for Star Trek: The Motion Picture, designed the Enterprise-D. The saucer of the Galaxy-class Enterprise can separate from the stardrive section. The Galaxy-class Starship is armed with twelve Type-X phaser arrays and three photon torpedo launchers, each capable of firing 10 torpedoes at a time. The ship has at least eight transporter rooms and 20 transporter systems. along with one large main shuttle bay in the saucer section, supported by two smaller bays in the stardrive section

The Build
I have replicated the ship, saucer, and main hull shape and size as close as possible given certain limitations in PC. While the saucer is not 100% accurate on the top side (the bridge top was flattened vs the bubble top to save on building pieces), I feel It looks the part. There is detailed accurate life-pods, command bridge, phaser banks, custom-built nacelles (to proper porportions), deflector dish, and hangar bay. The ship itself and all sections were built before lighting was added and took up about 3200 pieces. So that left about 800 pieces for lighting so I tried to add as much lighting as possible while keeping the BP at 4K. The entire ship has been built to proper scale with the rest of the ships in the collection. The entire build took about 45 hours to complete. This ship is a one piece scenery blueprint and does not contain any grid building pieces, so the BP can be rotated to any angle or position using the toggle advanced move tool (X key).
