I honestly felt like the BTS was wasted since the player might not look at it on his playthrough, you should have made it more noticeable (E.g. on the laser cube area, also making it bigger)
If you're gonna disable the crosshair too (honestly I think it helps with the ambience) it's a good idea to make some force portal walls (the one where you center it no matter where you place the portal) so I don't have to keep pressing as to hit it. But I liked that decision, honestly the crosshair ruins a bit for me the ambience.
