I have always loved the Dota 2 loading Splash screen, its a beautiful piece of art (great colours and lighting). So I took the colour scheme and expanded it out into a full HUD. I introduced an element of Fire to help it fit a bit more with the lore and give it a bit more colour/tone variation.

Changes I have made...
I have darkened the HUD by about 10-15% (this should help make it a bit less distracting) I have also taken part of the glow off the base image and added it as a overlay so that it fades up and down as you play. (its a very subtle effect, similar to the default HUD as I did not want to distract the player) I unfortunately can't provide a video of this effect at the moment as the import utility does not seem to want to show it, but if it gets accepted by valve I will do what ever is needed to get it working ingame. (I have all the files ready)
