Description
Ugly little tank that serves as a showcase for my target painting and tracking system.

Point the turret at something, press 2 to enable tracking and the turret will keep targeting that exact point.
Furthermore it will tell you the altitude and coordinates of the targeted position.

The searchlight just followed a little GPS beacon.

This one works by calculating the coordinates of the point it aims at.

What is the rest of the story? The auto searchlight didn't have the target painting, right? The target painting would probably make this even more accurate then?

Yes, the tracking part is similar but that is only half of the story.

Very cool! Is this system similar to your automatic searchlight?
