VOLT - Double Launch Coaster Inspired by HELIX

Experience VOLT, a double launch coaster with a custom soundtrack inspired by HELIX at Liseberg.

This double launched coaster inspired by HELIX at Liseberg and by MACK launch coasters in general features a fast track layout with 5 inversions clinging closely to a hillside. I started this project in May 2017 and finished it earlier this year after 35.000 parts were placed to create a coaster which may not show off with immersive theming, but creates a unique atmosphere with its geometric architectural style and electronic music (just like HELIX). A major feature of the coaster is its large station building and the long queue line inside it with its unique art style. I custom made billboards, videos and the onride and queue line music to make this coaster as realistic as possible.

VOLT comes as a little park which also includes a flatride and plenty of little things and details. Theming is mainly terrain work, rocks, lush foliage and modern buildings. And if you are of the curious type you may find some of the several EASTER EGGS I hid in the park 😉

A few notes about track smoothness:
It's not very good, I know, but back when I started with this ride, the 4m technique to build smooth coasters with Planet Coaster was not a thing. I decided not to conduct a major overhaul of the track due the amount of time it would take and due to the fact that I had already done a lot of terrain work and theming close to the track.
