How-to: Get Infinite Eridium and Money

A How-to guide on getting infinite money and eridium in Borderlands 2.

Inroduction and Requirements

This is a How-to guide on getting infinite money and eridium in Borderlands 2. You can do this in multiple saves to increase your badass rank, or you can do it so that you can buy some cool stuff, or you can do it simply for the heck of it. No matter why you do it, this is how it's done. Make sure to rate this guide fairly, and if you have any questions, suggestions, etc. please feel free to leave a comment.


These are the requirements needed to do the infinite money/eridium exploit:

• Borderlands 2 (obviously)
  
• A friend with Borderlands 2
  
• A save in which you have reached Sanctuary. (only neccessary if you want to get infinite eridium)

Infinite Money Instructions

First, you will want to host a game and have your friend join. You both need to travel away from a save point, so that the game doesn't automatically save. Initiate a trade with your friend, and have him/her give you all of thier money. After the trade, have them force quit the game, so that it doesn't save for them. After they quit, walk over to a save point so that the game saves, and exit to the main menu. Now, have your friend launch Borderlands 2 again, but this time let him/her host the server. When you join thier game, if this is done correctly, you should have a total of all of thier money plus what you had before the trade, and they should still have thier money! Repeat this process, but this time you give him/her all of your money and force quit. Continue repeating this process, swapping hosts and force-quitters each time. Each time you do this, you will get more money, and the more you do it, the faster you will get money. After a while, both you and your friend should have the maximum amount of money. Enjoy!

Infinite Eridium Instructions

Getting infinite eridium is extremely simple, but more time consuming. Simply do the infinite money exploit, and then use the slot machines in Sanctuary until you have all the eridium you want. You can also get weapons and unlock skins by doing this.

Tips

• After you do the infinite money exploit until you get the maximum amount of money, I recommend that you make another save that you don't play on at all, and have your friend do the glitch one last time in order to make that save have the max money. This way, when you and your friend run low on money because you die too much or spend it all, you can get both your and your friend's saves back to the max money very quickly.
  
• You don't need to use the slot machines in Sanctuary, you can use any of the slot machines, and I even recommend doing so to get a variety of weapons and skins.

Normal game torgue tokens/Seraph aren't really "Valid"
And golden geys are useless outside of UVHM.
Eridium is Easy to farm from either A, Bunker B, The warrior or C, ancient Dragons.
2 Vanilla 1 DLC

And money is Kinda un needed aside for ammo That said. Doing ANY boss 5 times will get you WELL OVER 10000'

@reverandsholiday The golden key's you ise the shift codes and you get to the slot for that when you go to the main menu and click extra's shift codes. their is a Steam guide containing many many shift codes that can get you many golden key's so go look at that.

I enjoy using the slots for eridium and loot. I also found out on each return to Sanctuary, I log out (quit and save) push play then check all the boxes and lockers, washers etc to find extra free weapons and Eridium!. Free!. Slots get expensive!. Does anyone know about how to open the cage door in crimson raiders hideout in Sanctuary? Also where to find and use Golden Keys?
I got one somehow in the intro part of the game, use one chest in travel station in Sanctuary.

No... its not an exploit. For ur Exploit u quit game by alt+f4 so u avoid autosaves. When farming Warrior its not necesarry to avoid saving. just press Esc, quit game and load again so there is no using of weaknesses in game mechanics.

To get quadrillfantastillwubwubbillion tons of money and eridium, u should farm the Warrior on normal difficulty... fight should not last longer than a few seconds and u can simply reload the save and spawn right in front of him.... no need to use exploits!
