Warhammer 40,000 - Nocturne

Adds the planet of Nocturne led by the Primarch of the Salamanders Legion.

Nocturne under the rule of Vulkan is a hybrid civilization with a primary focus on production. However, Vulkan also has strong culture and faith bonuses as well, and Vulkan further benefits from keeping his cities united under a single religion.

Trait - Commune of the Forge

+1 Culture from Mines, Quarries, and Manufactories. +1 Production and +2 Experience to newly trained units for every 2 citizens that adhere to the state religion.

Unique Unit - Firedrakes

Replaces the XCOM Squad. Has more combat strength (100->120) but more expensive (400->480), reduces nearby enemies' combat strength and heals for 25 HP when starting a turn sharing the tile with an civilian unit.

Unique Building - Promethean Cult

Replaces the Forge. Causes Iron to not only yield more Production but Faith as well and does not require it to be built. The city also gains +1 Production and Faith for every mine and manufactories worked by the city.

Vulkan was thematically a man of mercy, having learned well from the competition where the Emperor discarded his prize to save Vulkan. As such, Vulkan is very forgiving and friendly especially considering the settings from which he hails from. While Vulkan is not a total pacificst, Vulkan will prefer to befriend neighbors, although he may have trouble with religious neighbors. Vulkan with prioritize production, and will also focus on improving his tiles while not neglecting to expand or build a defensive army, although Vulkan is much less interested in making a large offensive army, especially one aimed at a landing.

NOTE: This civilization was released through a workaround 7-Zip Compression instead of the ModBuddy's default compression due to the MSB4018 error. If the civilization will not unzip or install, manually download the .civ5mod file through Steam Downloader, change the file format to ZIP, and then use AlZip or 7-Zip and unzip the content to the Mod folder.
