Description
Mod for customizing stack sizes. As well as the ability to target specific items.

Improvements for v1.0
  • Stack changes now do NOT require a game reload, if a stack is modified below a set stack size the stack is split up into smaller stacks. Should still save your game after every stack size adjustment; because if you adjust stacks, dont save, then reload a game, you could lose items.
  • Custom in game menu lets you pick between different modes ( scalar / fixed )
    • scalar: multiplies the base count by the number specified
    • fixed : simply sets the stack size to the number
  • Attempted to make it more clear how to set individual overrides via the Overrides.xml file.

Load Order
  • It hopefully won't matter. The stack modification code attempts to run after initial processing is complete. But if you have problems. Try moving OgreStack to last place.

Updates
  • Jan 6, 2020
    • Allow stacking of items with CompQuality, so long as the original content author wants the item to be stackable (like Wine in Vanilla Factions Expanded - Medieval)
  • August 20, 2018
    • Changed input boxes to plain text and parse input. Should fix strange '1E-06' type of input errors.
    • Removed all default item overrides except for 2 related to persona cores (this change will only be for new subscribers, or current subscribers who delete their Overrides.xml file)
    • Added various buttons for Presets in the settings window, should make setting stack sizes even faster
    • Altered text in overrides section to indicate that section is only for users comfortable in XML files, and who want to target one off ThingDefs to stack different than the configured settings

Howdy?
Better Workbench management only sees the number of stacks.
Set it up to mine 10 granite chunks, but in only sees 1 in the skip (deep storage), so infinite mining occurs.
Any ideas?

It's due to the mod Davai's Sorted Categories. Ogre stack doesn't work with the changes that mod makes to categories. Doesn't matter if you load before or after.

@The_Lord_Of_Lmao I'm getting the same issue. Also all meals are categorised as 'Other' instead of 'Meal'. Using Vanilla cooking expanded, VCE - Bakery and VCE - Haute.

With the vanilla brewing expanded mod it doesn't seem to be overwriting the tequila must item, I have put this mod at the bottom of my list but it still seems to be only doing stacks of x5. Dunno if it's interacting weird or what to do about it.

Love the mod idea, but if you change mod settings / go back to vanilla, you lose some amount of stacked items.
Hope you look into it, very useful mod and visually nice menus.

I made a new storeroom and now I don't have merging issues anymore. No idea what happened there.

I'm getting a weird bug where my item stacks aren't merging with each other, and trying to get my pawns to merge by right licking doesn't work because I get "no available stack to merge into", even when no other pawns are using those stacks.

It shouldn't be Ogrestack that's the cause, I've used it plenty of times before and had no issues, but it doesn't look like I have anything else that would modify stacks or merging. Except maybe Storage Framework or Pick Up and Haul, but disabling them had no affect.

it broke my save :( now when i load the save the stacks that was 10000 is 75 losing almos a year of in game progress
