Description

A German Main Battle Tank developed in the 1970s, The Leopard 2A4 is the most numerous and perhaps importent model of the Leopard 2 line seeing service with the armed forces of both European countries and non-European nations arount the world.

Specifications:
Max Spd: 68 Km/h (42 Mph)
Armament: Rheinmetall L/44 120mm gun
2x MG-3A1 7.62mm machine guns
Crew: 4

Driver Controls:
Press WASD to drive
Press alt and use the mouse to aim the turret
Press MMB to fire the machine guns

Misc. Controls:
Press the switch to switch between HE and AP rounds

something is reallly wrong the turret just starts spinning crazy as hell

The Leopard C2 MBT is a Canadian upgrade of the German Leopard 1. Canada purchased 127 Leopard 1A3 MBTs in the late 1970s. These were locally designated as the Leopard C1. In 2000 a total of 114 C1 tanks were upgraded to the C2 standard to extend their service lives. There were plans to replace these tanks with Stryker Mobile Gun Systems, however these plans were not executed. It was planned that the C2s will remain in active service until at least 2015. Currently these Canadian tanks are nearly 40 years old and it becomes increasingly harder to maintain them.
