able to take 68 tonnes to LKO with enough delta-v to do a fly by of the Mun. What more need be said.
Tests flights flown thus far:
Test One:
Flew a mun mission with a small lander stored in the cargo bay. After landing the lander on the mun surface I parked it in the cargo and returned it to the surface of kerbin safe and sound.
Test Two:
Flew a mission with 4 full large ore container full to LKO. after droping off the 68000kg of ore containers in orbit I had ~900 Delta V left and was able to put it into a free return orbit from the mun.
Fun Fact:
If the cargo bay was large enough you could lift 2 additional shuttles without the boosters. A full shuttle is only 33 and a bit tonnes.
