Yi Soon Shin's Samdo Naval Command

Adds Yi Soon Shin's Samdo Navy Command as a playable civilization.

Yi Soon Shin's navy has a powerful naval unit compounded by an impressive admiral unique unit. In addition, Yi Soon Shin gets a small bonus towards military and naval infrastructure.

All naval units receive the Hanseon promotion, granting them 20% defensive combat strength and the ability to ignore enemy zone of control. Lighthouses and Harbors yield production while Barracks and Armories yield food.

Replaces the Frigate. Significantly tougher than the Frigate, while earlier and cheaper than the Frigate, the Turtle Ship is different than the vanilla Turtle Ship. This Turtle Ship is a ranged unit with stronger attack and even more so defensive strength, although it is much slower than the frigate in the deep oceans.

Replaces the Great Admiral. In addition to the regular effects of the Great Admiral, the Navy Commander also restores 20 HP to adjacent units at the start of a turn. In addition, Navy Commanders who garrison a city also grants naval units trained in that city 20 extra experience.

As a war hero, Yi Soon Shin is not particularly friendly. Yi Soon Shin is not easy to befriend, although Yi Soon Shin as a defensive war hero is not a bloody warmonger either. However, Yi Soon Shin is very loyal and will not easily back down from a declaration of friendship if he chooses to make one. Yi Soon Shin is very defense-minded, and will have a large defensive army which is also more often than not well-trained, especially focusing on a powerful navy.

NOTE: This civilization was released through a workaround 7-Zip Compression instead of the ModBuddy's default compression due to the MSB4018 error. If the civilization will not unzip or install, manually download the .civ5mod file through Steam Downloader, change the file format to ZIP, and then use AlZip or 7-Zip and unzip the content to the Mod folder.
