Anyone that complained about the sun, Kevin Ryan fixed it by making the sun have a face on it.

Hate to disappoint but one or two puzzles I created use the tie-in parts. "City Slicker", "Birthday Royale", and "Royal Crocs", and maybe one or two others of mine use the DLC parts. I tried to make the best of it to create a puzzle out of it, but not in a way you expect. The byproducts of those parts interacting are what I was using to create a puzzle, not Kevin Ryan's puzzle concepts. Just play mine because it's hard to explain. Brickey.8 also tried with Wonderstructs.

Those are nice straightforward part ideas. I think the idea of having a hot glowing ball as a part is fine, and then you calling it the sun is just poetic. But it should at least have a name and a part description! Why are there parts without a description? I dislike all the new tie-in gimmick parts, and am glad that the good puzzle designers, like you, are not trying to use them.

The sun as a part, I'm not 100% thrilled of Kevin Ryan's part idea implementations since he took over the project fall 2017. I gave him some of my part ideas, such as an electric hot plate (electric to heat), fishing rod spool (rotation to rope storage for retracting/releasing), laser pointer (similar to flashlight, except the button needs to be held down to fire).

Excellent puzzle! My only complaint is the goal description, since I'd never seen a sun part before, and assumed it was just scenery, and the goal was really "enter the incinerator". The idea that a ceiling fan can move the sun is a lot weirder physics than a toaster making toast! I think "Make Zeppelin and the hot sun collide" would make the goal clearer than "Send Zeppelin into the sun".

I decided against (for now) to not use the power strip method to prevent the laser from being plugged in to pop the balloon. Why? The issue was popping Blimpy with fire to become a moving fire part to pop the balloon and to drop the dripping bucket prematurely, skipping more of the puzzle. So Blimpy gets a goal state. The writing could be sloppy however. Any suggestions?

Maybe Blimpy should stay alive as a goal. The blimp without the balloon must win without getting hurt in the process. :steammocking: Have to rewrite the story a bit.

I also just used the burned blimp to pop the balloon in the tunnel by using a random part to block the balloon and seperate the balloon from the blimp.

Easy fix is to use locked power strips. I did that with "Cat and Mouse Truce":
