Ashikaga Expands

Description
At the request of charsi (+ a few more) this mod is made.

Ashikaga now acts like any other clan (+ the ashikaga benefits so beware).

-Ashikaga has been assigned random personality, depending on personality their behaviour changes but they will always be more aggressive than in vanilla.
-They will actively attack and conquer provinces of clans they are at war with.
-They may expand on their own and act like any other clan.
-They may be a steadfast ally or a backstabbing prick.

Either way, ashikaga will actually attack other clans provinces and be more aggressive now.

Thats all there is to it.

I also recommend people to check out charsie's version as his mod aims to use ashikaga as allies rather than making them "more aggressive like other clans" to put it that way.

I have expanded japan and it does work. The one thing I did notice that may need tweaking is that they never made more then 2 armies at anytime.

doesnt seem to work with expanded japan been using it and on turn 100 they still only have one province

It does not alter anything for the other factions. It just alters ashikaga

Does this mod make the major clans weaker? I have 10 campaigns where takeda, oda, and useugi died in like the first 15 turns....

I didn't think much of it at first because apparently it doesn't affect the Ashikaga in previously saved games from before subbing to the mod. However I just started a new campaign and while they are my ally, they, in under 60 turns, own most of the primary island of Japan. I am scared of them.
