Hello everyone !


I present you a very special medkit this time !


The Division Backpack :

Includes :

- Water bottle
- Many store_away pockets
- Sleep bag
- Gas mask for contaminated area
- medkit & food inside !

+

- Worldmodel ONLY !

That means every kit model / skin / sounds / animation on the workshop "should" be compatible with my backpack.

For exemple you can subscribe to Scream's the division medkit and mine and it will works.

Some survivors may have a custom position for the medkit ( the division survivors for exemple).



Ps : removed the shotgun due to size problem and conflict with main gun position on back.

It's an awesome mod, until you found out 100% of the Medkit mod come with the world models. Fortunately, I know how to unpack and repack vpk files, but unfortunate to those who can't.

I suggest you make couple of side-addon for the medkit just so it could run without any conflict.

Or, you can edit addon.txt, place your mod ID above the custom medkit mod ID, save and turn the file to "read only". It's the quickest solution but the biggest pain in ass too.
So i don't know how to open your mod, or what programs exacly i need.
But i understand your mod better now, and i think you should change the description from
"(...) every kit model / skin on the workshop "should" be compatible with my backpack."
to
"(...) every kit model / skin on the workshop WONT be compatible with my backpack, and you have to place it in right order ABOVE your custom medkit mod. Here is a solution how..." etc.
Otherwise it is misleading discription.

or open my mod and place your viiewmodel files inside and compile again.

it will conflit and it is normal since the default medkit has a worldmodel too, this mod replace the worldmodel ( thirdperson ) but not the first person model, if you want to have this mod and a custom first person model, try to subscribe in a differnet order , so the load order is different

It seems your medkit-backpack mod is conflicting with any medkit mod i tried, including with the First Aid Kit form Division :/ Unfortunately, the L4d2 mod launcher places Backpack mod BELOW the other medkit.

When I used this along with the 'dark zone bag' mod it wasn't compatible, however that just took a few minutes to fix by simply unpacking the mod file and dropping in the viewmodel and resources from the other mod into this one, making my own custom version of it. It's a very nice mod overall in comparison to the other 'packpack medkit' mods on t he workshop. Thank you for making this.
