~Guide overview~
Down the right side, you can find various achievement names and can easily find the achievement you're looking for. The guide will be structured into Unmissable achievements, Covenants and then the other achievements separate below that.

Any help with typos or errors is much appreciated! :D
~Story Related (Or Unmissable)~
-Self Recollection:
"Reclaim flesh and set out as an undead"

Unlocked very early by progressing after the start. Speak to some old Firekeepers and choose your name and character for the achievement.

-This is Dark Souls:
"Die for the first time"

Just die by any means.

-Last Giant:
"Defeat the Last Giant"

The Last Giant will most likely be the first Dark Souls 2 boss you face in this game. He can be found in the Forrest of Fallen Giants down the elevator, by the Cardinal Tower bonfire after unlocking the short cut loop. Kill him for the achievement.

-Sinner's Bonfire:
"Light the primal bonfire in Sinner's Rise"

At the end of the Lost Bastille you will find Sinners Rise. Defeat the Lost Sinner boss in this area and light the primal bonfire after the boss area.

-Iron Keep Bonfire:
"Light the primal bonfire in the Iron Keep"

You need to defeat the Old Iron King at the end of the Iron keep to access the bonfire. After the fight light the bonfire in the ruins behind.

-Brightstone Bonfire:
"Light the primal bonfire in Brightstone Cove Tseldora"

You need to kill the Duke’s Dear Freja (boss), a giant two headed spider at the end of Brightstone Cove. After the fight go light the primal bonfire.

-Gulch Bonfire:
"Light the primal bonfire in the Black Gulch"

Defeat The Rotten (boss) in the Black Gulch. After the fight go and light the primal bonfire.

-Looking Glass Knight:
"Defeat Looking Glass Knight"

Once all of the Primal bonfires are lit you can access the Shrine of Winter in the Shaded Woods. This leads to Drangleic Castle and if you fight your way through here you will eventually end up at King’s Passage. The Looking Glass Knight is located here. Once he dies the achievement will unlock.

-King's Ring:
"Acquire the King's Ring"

Once you defeat the boss in the Undead Crypt you will go into the room behind him and see an optional boss (won't be hostile unless agro - save him for later) and an item to grab. Pick up the item to get this ring and the achievement.

-Ancient Dragon:
"Acquire Ashen Mist Heart"

Once you have the King’s Ring head to the Ruined Fork Road bonfire in the Shaded Woods and then through the middle opening to access a gate (need the ring equipped to open). This leads to Aldia’s Keep, go through here to the Dragon Aerie and then the Dragon Shrine. At the end of the shrine you will speak to the Ancient Dragon and be given this item and the achievement will unlock.

-The Heir:
"See the ending"

Simply beat the game.
~Covenant Achievements~
Note: For all "discover" covenant achievements you do not need to join the covenant but just have the option to.

-Covenant of the Meek:

Covenant Leader: Crestfallen Saulden
Location: Majula

Exhaust all of Crestfallen Saulden's dialogue. He is sat on the monument in Majula and will offer you the chance to join.

-Covenant of the Fittest:
"Discover the covenant of the fittest"

Covenant Leader: Victor's Stone

Covenant Leader: The Sun
Location: Harvest Valley

-Protector Covenant:
"Discover the covenant of the protectors"

Covenant Leader: Blue Sentinel Targray
Location: Cathedral of Blue

For this achievement defeat the optional boss, Old Dragonslayer in the Blue Cathedral (next to Heide's Tower of Flame) then speak to Targray on the balcony here. He will give you the option to join. You must have at least one Token of Fidelity in your inventory to talk to him. One can found on a ledge just below the bridge leading to The Undead Purgatory or by helping other players with the White Soapstone defeat a boss (cannot use Small White Sign Soapstone).

-Clangorous Covenant:
"Discover the clangorous covenant"

Covenant Leader: Bell Keeper Dwarf
Location(s): Belfry Luna or Belfry Sol

Speak to the Bell Keeper either at Belfry Luna (Lost Bastille) or Belfry Sol (Iron Keep) both of which require a Pharros Lockstone to access. For Belfry Luna, go to the bonfire in the Servants Quarters in the Lost Bastille (after Ruin Sentinel boss fight) then down the ladder in that room. There is a Lockstone contraption in the room at the bottom, use it and hit the glowing face to gain access to Belfry Luna and this covenant. For Belfry Sol, it is behind a Pharros contraption after the Ironhearth Hall bonfire in Iron Keep in a side room.

-Gnawing Covenant:
"Discover the covenant of rodents"

Covenant Leader: Rat King
Location(s): Grave of Saints or Doors of Pharros

This covenant is found in two places, only one is required to join. You can join from a small room after you defeat the Royal Rat Vanguard boss in the Grave of Saints or a similar room after the Royal Rat Authority boss in the Doors of Pharros. You get a Rat Tail for each of these bosses, which is required to join. Talk to the Rat King in one of the areas after beating one or both of the bosses.

-Sanguinary Covenant:
"Discover the covenant of the bloodthirsty"

Covenant Leader: Titchy Gren
Location: Undead Purgatory

For this achievement speak to Titchy Gren in the Undead Purgatory, available after the Executioner's Chariot boss fight. You need to have one Token of Spite to join. They can be obtained by going to the bottom of the Majula well, and down the tunnel with the 3 mummies, climb down all the ladders and find it in a chest (right before the Gutter). They can also be obtained by killing a host during an invasion as a red phantom.

-Abysmal Covenant:
"Discover the abysmal covenant"

Covenant Leader: Darkdiver Grandahl
Location(s): Black Gulch + Shaded Ruins + Drangleic Castle

You need to talk to Darkdiver Grandahl in three different locations to join the Pilgrims of Dark. They can be done in any order. After the third one he will let you join.

Shaded Ruins - To the right of the ramp that leads up to the scorpion boss you will find a hidden wooden floor to fall through by some trees. He is at the bottom.

Black Gulch - Behind the Forgotten Key Door. Accessed via a hidden ledge near the pools with burrowing worms and hand monsters. Dropping down two levels has a large arch door that is locked. The next ledge down has a tunnel leading to a large room with two faceless giants. Killing both giants yields a Forgotten Key and Soul of a Giant. This key can be used on the previously found door to access a small chamber containing Grandahl.

Drangleic Castle - Behind the Soul-Activated door in the far left of the corner of the large room adjoining the King's Gate Bonfire. The room has two torch bearing giant statues at the end, and a Ruin guardian behind each door. You will need to drop through the floor in the required room to find him.

-Covenant of Ancients:
"Discover an ancient covenant"

Covenant Leader: Magerold of Lanafir
Location(s): Iron Keep (+item from Dragon Shrine)

For this achievement, you need to get the Petrified Egg from the Dragon Shrine, from the bonfire go up the first two flights of steps until you see a broken path with boxes at the end. Break them and drop down onto a hidden ledge with chests, follow this hidden route up a tall tower where you will be attacked by an NPC invader. Kill him and grab the egg from this room.

Then go to the Iron Keep. From the Threshold Bridge Bonfire, go into the keep and immediately go right and find the merchant Magerold. Speak to him with the egg in your possession to join.

-Selfless Giver:
"Max-out devotion to covenant"

You need to reach Rank 3 with ANY Covenant for this to unlock. You need to get two to Rank 3 for other achievements anyway (as you need the requisite spells) so aim for those. The two are: Heirs of the Sun (once joined the need 30 Sunlight medals for max rank – gained by helped other players beat bosses or being helped in turn by members of this Covenant) and Pilgrims of the Dark (need to find the Darkdiver in three places (refer to "Abysmal Covenant") and then complete the small dungeon in each of them and light the beacon, then defeat the final boss - Darklurker).

Rank 3 covenant requirements:
  • Heirs of the Sun - 30 Sunlight Medals (above)

  • Way of the Blue - Defeat 10 invading phantoms (wear Guardian's seal)

  • Brotherhood of Blood - 500 rank points (Duels by Titchy Gren)

  • Blue Sentinels - 500 victories in the Duels at Cathedral of Blue

  • Bell Keepers - Defeat 100 trespassers in Belfry Sol or Luna

  • Rat King - 35 Rat Tails, received by beating a summoned grey phantom when wearing the Crest of the Rat.

  • Dragon Remnants - 30 Dragon Scales, acquired by invading world of another player, using the Dragon Eye, and defeating the player.

  • Company of Champions - Offer 50 Awestones, Dropped by invading (Red) phantoms.

  • Pilgrims of Dark - As above.
Reflections of Disembodiment Achievement
-Reflections of Disembodiment:
"Inherit equipment from the head of Vengarl"

You need to access the Shaded Woods, by using a Fragrant Branch of Yore to unpetrify Rosabeth. From the bonfire at the Ruined Fork Road in the Shaded Woods go through the right hand exit (the one shrouded in fog) and hug the wall to your left as you enter. Follow the way up and around to a clearing with some ruins and a pile of bones. Speak to the helmet here to find Vengarl – continue talking to him repeatedly to get his helmet and this achievement.
Garrulous Miser Achievement
-Garrulous Miser:
"Inherit Laddersmith Gilligan's equipment"

Find him first of all located on a ledge in Earthen Peak. From the second bonfire (the one behind a mist door) go up the stairs and smash the wooden railing in front of you. Then go along the left hand ledge to find him. Buy his ladder here for 2,000 souls and make sure to exhaust all conversation. After the boss fight at the top of Earthen Peak (Mytha) he will then move to Majula. Now be sure to buy all three of his ladders down the Pit and then speak to him repeatedly until he gives you his item for the achievement.
Holder of the Fort Achievement
-Holder of the Fort:
"Inherit Captain Drummond's equipment"

Once you have spoken to the Ancient Dragon and acquired the Ashen Mist Heart you can enter the Memory of Vammar via the slumbering giant near the ballista room in the Forest of Fallen Giants. This is where Drummond is, you can speak to him now to learn a gesture but to get his equipment you need to kill the Giant Lord in the Memory of Jeigh (through the King’s door in the Forest of Fallen Giants).

Once the Giant Lord boss is dead return to the Memory of Vammar again and speak to Drummond to get his helmet and the achievement.
Lucatiel Achievement
-Lucatiel:
"Inherit equipment from Lucatiel of Mirrah"

This achievement needs some planning to make it as easy as possible so try to do things in the order I list them in order to make life easier on yourself.

Note: Her locations have changed for Scholar of the First Sin, so be sure not to miss her. Her last spot is ALWAYS Aldia's Keep and she needs to have survived three fights BEFORE you speak to her here. This has to be done in ONE playthrough.

There are a total of four locations where you can talk to and summon Lucatiel. You must Exhaust Lucatiel's dialogue at three different locations, and she must assist you as a white phantom on corresponding area bosses three times.

She must survive the boss fights for it to count. Therefore, I suggest you clear the path between her and the boss before summoning her. Also, you can use the Redeye ring (purchased from Shalquoir in Majula) to take the heat off her during the boss fight. If she dies then you can either leave (homeward bone/Darksign) or die, then you can try again.

Talk to her, do the boss, make sure she survives, talk to her at next location, repeat:

1) No Man's Wharf

Lucatiel is found inside a building (not next to the bonfire as in the original version), to get there go from the bonfire. Go along the pier where the archer is, then up the stairs between two wooden buildings (beware of ambush). At the top of the stairs look a bit to your left in front of you and there will be some stairs leading up in a house. Go up these and Lucatiel should be standing there. Exhaust her dialogue.

She will then be a summon for the Flexile Sentry, you will find her just before the stairs on the pier to the ship.

2) Lost Bastille/Sinner's Rise

Lucatiel will be in a tower near the Tower Apart bonfire in the Lost bastille. That is the bonfire you reach by defeating the Pursuer in the Forest of Fallen Giants, and then getting carried by the eagle. Once you are there, exit the door at the bonfire and she is in the tower across the path in front of you, exhaust her dialogue.

You will need to progress through the Lost Bastille and reach Sinner's Rise (the next area) to summon her. Her summon sign can be found at the bottom of the elevator. I strongly suggest you kill the enemies before summoning her as there is a flexile sentry and many high damaging enemies.

3) Harvest Valley/Iron Keep:

Lucatiel's location for this has changed since the original version. She can now be found in Harvest Valley (rather than Earthen Peak). From the Mines bonfire go through towards Earthen Peak. You will come to a bridge with a green hammer guy. After the bridge go right and round into a large room with poison pots. Go through the door at the far end of this room and take a right. Follow this path a short distance until a door on your right. Go into that room and Lucatiel will be standing against the wall, exhaust her dialogue.

The boss fight for her is two areas along in the Iron Keep, where she helps you fight Smelter Demon. Her summon sign will be just after the bridge you have to lower, in front of the fog gate.

4) Black Gulch

Lucatiel is in a hidden cave. From the first bonfire go out to the left and follow the path. There should be two statues then a third on your right. The group after this third is where you want to stop. Just before this group slowly go forward to the edge and you should be able to just make out a ledge below you (turn your brightness up if you can't see it) if you can see it then edge forward until you fall and you will land on the ledge. Go up through this cave and Lucatiel will be standing against the wall, exhaust her dialogue.

You can then summon her for the Rotten, she is in the room with the second bonfire. This bonfire is found in a cave by following the edge all the way along. You need a Fragrant Branch of Yore to unpetrify a hollow which blocks your way. A fragrant Branch can be found on a body where you dropped down before the fog gate leading into Black Gulch.

Inherit the Items:

Once you have completed three of the four above locations you must meet her in a small wooden building in Aldia's keep, before going up the stairs into the Keep. There will be a bonfire in this building, and she will be sitting against the wall. Talk to her until she gives you her equipment. Then the achievement should pop.
Moonlight Greatsword Achievement
-Moonlight Greatsword:
"Inherit Benhart of Jugo's equipment"

This achievement needs some planning to make it as easy as possible so try to do things in the order I list them in order to make life easier on yourself.

You first find Benhart sat on the path leading to the Shaded Woods, before the door blocked by the petrified Rosabeth. Speak to him here until he repeats himself and then un-petrify Rosabeth with a Fragrant Branch of Yore. Then head back to Benhart to speak to him again and learn a gesture, make sure he repeats himself.

Once you get to Brightstone Cove you will find his summon sign in one of the tents in the Royal Army Campsite (same tent that has a suit of armour stood in it) but don’t call him yet. Instead follow the path past the boulders and into the church, kill all the peasants and spiders leading up to the fog gate in there and THEN head back to summon him. This means he’ll have full health for the boss. Take him back there and kill the Prowling Magus and his Congregation – MAKE SURE THAT BENHART SURVIVES THE FIGHT OR IT WILL NOT COUNT. He needs to survive 3 of the 4 available boss fights for you to get his equipment. To make things easier you can buy the Redeye Ring from the cat in Majula for 6,700 souls as this will force the enemies to focus on you rather than the NPC.

After that you will meet him again by the Central Castle bonfire in Drangleic Castle (just before the platform that takes you up to King’s Passage). Speak to him until he repeats himself and then continue onwards. Once you access Kings Passage clear out all of the enemies and find his summon sign to the left of the fog gate leading to the Looking Glass Knight, it helps to summon a second player if you can as the Knight can do severe damage. Ensure he survives the fight and continue.

Once you have the Ashen Mist Heart (from the Ancient Dragon) go back to the birds nest in the Forest of Fallen Giants (just past where The Pursuer fog gate fight was) and speak to him there until he repeats himself. You can now use the Ashen Mist Heart to enter the Memory of Jeigh, his summon sign is straight ahead of you and down some steps (be sure to call him rather than Drummond) and have him help you defeat the Giant Lord.

Once that is done you can speak to him in the Memory of Orro in order to get his equipment and the achievement. If he died on one of the fights you can also summon him at the Throne of Want to assist you with the last boss, then head back to the Memory of Orro afterwards (DO NOT START A NG+ IF YOU ARE DOING THIS) as he will be there permanently. If you missed a fight or he died (if he dies before the boss is dead then you can let it kill you and summon him again, though obviously you need to use an Effigy or Life Protection Ring to be human again) you have two options.

Either try again on NG+ OR use a Bonfire Ascetic at the relevant bonfire (Royal Army Campsite, Central Drangleic Castle, Place Unbeknownst, Kings Gate) to make the boss respawn and attempt the fight again. If you do the latter the boss will be tougher and (in some cases) have allies. You can theoretically use this method to get all three boss wins on ONE fight if you feel like it (so defeating the Prowling Magus three times on one playthrough via Ascetic use would be fine). But you still HAVE TO speak to him in the required places and have the wins before talking to him in the Memory of Orro (though he will stay there indefinitely so you can use the Ascetic method at your leisure).
Smith for Life Achievement
-Smith for Life:
"Inherit Steady Hand McDuff's equipment"

McDuff can be found in the Lost Bastille (from the tower where Lucatiel is found just go straight ahead down the steps and his cell is at the bottom on the right) either by using the Bastille Key (found in Belfry Luna) to open his cell or by using the explosive barrel at the top of the stairs nearby to blow open the wall to get in. Once there speak to him repeatedly and light the torch in here to get him to move off the chest he is sat on. You now need the Dull Ember.

You need to kill The Pursuer in the Forest of Fallen Giants (either on the battlements near Cale the Cartographer where an eagle drops him in or behind the fog gate on the upper battlements with the ballista). Once he is dead you can find a nest just past his fog gate location - examine it and an eagle will pick you up and drop you by the Tower Apart bonfire in the Lost Bastille. There are two chests here and the Ember is in one of them.

Take it back to McDuff and he will then be able to infuse your weapons (if you have the correct stones).

Now there is a lot of confusion on the internet about this achievement but the way to get it is by spending 14,000 souls on infusions with McDuff. He will give you a Titanite Slab and the achievement is yours after you talk to him through his options.
Supreme Weapon Achievement
-Supreme Weapon:
"Reinforce a weapon to its limit"

For this achievement you need to get a weapon to +10 via upgrading it at a blacksmith. This will likely come from natural progression.

You will need the following to max out a regular weapon: 6 Titanite Shards, 6 Large Titanite Shards, 6 Titanite Chunks, 1 Titanite Slab. Plus, the required amount of souls to upgrade the weapon.

The easiest blacksmith to find is Lenigrast in Majula. Speak to him and buy his shop key from the merchant by the Cardinal Tower bonfire, then head back and open the store. Once you upgrade a weapon to +10 with the above items, this will unlock.
Vendrick Achievement
-Vendrick:
"Defeat Vendrick"

King Vendrick is an optional boss and is found at the end of the Undead Crypt after you defeat the boss there. He is not hostile to the player and will only attack if you do enough damage to him. The problem is that he has a ludicrously high defence unless you seek out the five Giant Souls, which will reduce his defence until it is normal.

To get the five souls you need to do the following (once you have the Ashen Mist Heart):

  • Dragon Shrine - Drop from Ancient Dragon at the top of Dragon Shrine.

  • Memory of Orro - On the body of a Giant past two giants and two knights on Ballistae.

  • Memory of Vammar - At the end guarded by a giant.

  • Memory of Jeigh - On a body of the giant after Giant Lord boss.

  • Black Gulch - Requires defeating two giants in a hidden cave, reached by dropping down two more levels from the Forbidden Door that leads to Darkdiver Grandahl. (Unmissable if going for Abysmal Covenant).

Collecting these will make the fight a lot easier. After he is dead you will get the achievement.
Gathering of Exiles Achievement
-Gathering of Exiles:
"Increase the population of Majula"

For this achievement you must get the following 7 NPC's to move to Majula by exhausting their dialogue or through other means.

NPC's:

  • Merchant Hag Melentia - found in Cardinal Tower by the bonfire. Speak to her after you have killed the Last Giant and she will move to Majula.

  • Cale the Cartographer - found in the Forest of Fallen Giants. From the Cardinal Tower Bonfire go down the ladder and left at the bottom. Through the door at the end and halfway up the sloping tree, drop onto a lower wooden ledge from here and then again to the floor. Go up the ladder on the building nearby and then over the wooden bridge to a roof - from here you can do a running jump to a wooden platform ahead, and then drop down to another wooden platform that has the cave entrance. Watch out for the boulder trap and then speak to Cale at the top of the slope until he says he will go back to Majula.

  • Rosabeth - she is blocking the entrance to the Shaded Wood initially. Needs to be freed using a Fragrant Branch of Yore. Then speak to her until she repeats herself, and be sure to give her some new clothes and she will then move to Majula, at the bottom of the memorial near the bonfire.

  • Carhillion - found in No-Man's Wharf, on the docks by the ship you summon. You need at least 8 Int to speak with him, do so repeatedly and he will then move to Majula (under a tree looking out to sea).

  • Licia - found after the Dragonrider fight at the top of Heide's Flaming Tower. If you exhaust all conversation she will then move next to the contraption in the tunnels by Majula (same tunnel that led to Heide).

  • Stone Trader Chloanne - found sat on a rock as you enter Harvest Valley. Speak to her until she says it is time for her to move on and she will go to Majula the next time you rest.

  • Laddersmith Gilligan - located in Earthen Peak. From the second bonfire (the one behind a mist door) go up the stairs and smash the wooden railing in front of you. Go along the left hand ledge to find him. Buy his ladder for 2,000 souls and make sure to exhaust all conversation. After the boss fight at the top of Earthen Peak (Mytha) he will then move to Majula.

Note: Once all of the above are in Majula you should get the achievement the next time you warp there from another bonfire.
Curious Map Achievement
-Curious Map:
"Light all flames on the map in Majula"

After you find the Cardinal Tower bonfire go down the ladder in that room (the following areas have plenty of enemies but this is the route you need). At the bottom head left and through the door at the end, you’ll be facing a fallen tree that makes a ramp upwards. About halfway up you can drop onto a doorway on the left, do so and then turn around drop to the ground. Run across to the ladder down here and climb up it. At the top cross the wooden ramp on your left and make your way to the roof of the house, from here do a running jump to the wooden platform in the corner. Then go right and drop down to the next platform. There is a cave on the left side, so head in slowly, a boulder should roll down so be careful. Once it passes go up the ramp and speak to Cale. He will give you the mansion key and you should only leave after exhausting his dialogue. Once you have defeated the Last Giant and the skeleton in the basement of the mansion in Majula he will move into the mansion by the stone map.

You now need to do the following to light the fires:

  • Defeat the Last Giant - Forest of Fallen Giants
  • Defeat the Lost Sinner - Sinner's Rise
  • Defeat the Old Iron King - Iron Keep
  • Defeat the Rotten - Black Gulch
  • Defeat the Duke's Dear Freja - Brightstone Cove Tseldora
  • Obtain the King's Ring - Undead Crypt
  • Obtain the Ashen Mist Heart from the Ancient Dragon - Dragon Shrine
  • Defeat Nashandra - Drangleic Castle (Throne of Want)

After doing all these go and talk to Cale in the Majula mansion and the achievement is yours.
Change of Clothes Achievement
-Change of Clothes:
"Give Rosabeth of Melfia something to wear"

She is the statue blocking the path to the Shaded Woods and you need a Fragrant Branch of Yore to free her.

Once she is free you need to give her some items (helmet, armour, gloves and boots) and you will then get the achievement and she will move to Majula.
Gesture Maestro Achievement
-Gesture Maestro:
"Learn all gestures"

For this achievement you must learn all 12 of the non-starting gestures on one character. At the start of the game, you will have 8 gestures. You will need to gather 12 more for the achievement. Can all be obtained on NG.

The gestures and how to unlock:
  • Welcome - Location: Majula.
Can be learned from Crestfallen Saulden when you first enter Majula by going to the monument and going through all of his dialogue and gaining access to his menu. Select learn gesture.

  • Joy - Location: Majula.
Speak to Benhart of Jugo before un-petrifying Rosabeth. After un-petrifying Rosabeth of Melfia just before the Shaded Woods, go back and speak to Benhart of Jugo again. Go through his dialogue until you get the option of learning the gesture. (Refer to "Change of Clothes" achievement for more info)

  • Duel bow - Location: Cathedral of Blue.

  • Fist Pump - Location: Huntsman's Copse.
Unlock the door to the room containing the Undead Lockaway Bonfire and next to it you'll find Creighton the Wanderer; go through all of his dialogue to get the option to learn the gesture.

  • Praise the Sun - Location: Harvest Valley.
You can learn this Gesture at the Altar of Sunlight without having to rank up the Covenant. (Refer to "Brilliant Covenant" achievement for more info)

  • Mock - Location: Lost Bastille.
Find the petrified Straid of Olaphis in a cell in Lost Bastille. Use a Fragrant Branch of Yore to free him. Speak to him to get option to learn his gesture.

  • Prostration - Location: Earthen Peak or Majula.
Upon encountering Laddersmith Gilligan at Earthen Peak and paying him 2000 Souls, you can learn the gesture. Or, learn it from him after he has moved to Majula. He will move to Majula by talking to him at Earthen Peak and exhausting his dialogue or by defeating the boss, Mytha, the Baneful Queen.

  • Decapitate - Location: Shaded Woods. (Mist area)
Speak to the Head of Vengarl who can be found in a clearing in the Shaded Woods, in the mist area. After entering from the Ruined Fork Road stick to the left side wall of the fog area. Learn gesture after going through all dialogue. (Refer to "Reflections on Disembodiment" achievement for more info)

  • Warmup - Location: Shaded Woods. (Shaded Ruins)
Equip the Ring of Whispers which can be purchased from Sweet Shalquoir in Majula and speak to Manscorpion Tark after defeating Scorpioness Najka boss.

  • This one's me - Location: Drangleic Castle.
Speak to Chancellor Wellager on the stairs just inside the main entrance until you get the option to learn the gesture.

  • Have mercy! - Location: Undead Crypt.
Highly missable! Approach and speak to Grave Warden Agdayne without having a Torch lit, and learn the gesture from him. Having a torch lit will make him hostile.

  • Hurrah! - Location: Memory of Vammar.
After acquiring the Ashen Mist Heart from the Ancient Dragon, use it to access the Memory of Vammar. Speak to Captain Drummond in the memory and exhaust dialogue to learn his gesture. (Refer to "Holder of the Fort" achievement for more info)

Starting gestures: Point, I won't bite, Bow, Wave, Pumped Up, Warcry, Righty-ho! and No way.

The Ng++ ones are bought from counciller wellager as a replacement for grinding certain covenants. You must be in NG++ to buy them. most NG+ ones are from handing in a NG+ boss soul to a boss soul trader, these ones are gettable with bonfire ascetics for their bosses.
Zachshock 1 lug 2024, ore 10:06

Hey man great job compiling all this, just a question thought. It seems that the online servers are down for a while now, does this effect the steam achievements at all?

@A Block of Jelly. Beats farming like in Dark Souls 3. Yet another thing DS3 failed to take from DS2.
A Block of Jelly 12 ago 2020, ore 14:42
I am so sad that some of these require you to beat the game three times as getting or defeating so many opponents would take so long
Its a shame I do love these game but not sure to doing so three times in a row
as I just want fashion and such!
But oh well
Ill see what I could do for that
