Pacifist Playthrough Save Files

Summary

Here are some save files I made for anyone having trouble with the autosave system this game has. It's a pacifist playthrough at two different states in the game, Save 1 is during the great hunt (I thought I had an even earlier save than this, but I do not) and Save 2 is during unnatural selection. What follows is everything I've done up to the most recent save (Save 2):

-Have not killed any NPCs
-Spared Dorothy and Sean
-Did not munch on the victim during the fight with Mary (basically going for "Not Even Once")
-Only missing 3 collectibles
-Have 21k in xp I haven't distributed and I'm level 15
-Currently in West End, I've completed all of the areas beforehand (loot, convos, etc.)
-Watered the plant; rest for 3 nights and then "use" the plant and you'll get the achievement

I'm creating this guide for anyone experiencing corrupt/missing save files, mistakes made through one of the key choices in the game or just to save time and complete a pacifist playthrough after having murdered everyone in your first.

The save files are in a hidden folder titled "appdata" under your username directory. Mine looks like this: C:>Users>YourUserName>AppData>Local>AVGame

In order to ensure you load up my saves, you must copy over the entire "Saved" folder and all of it's subfolders intact. You might have to change your settings each time though.

UPDATE: Added two more saves, Save 3 is right before the fight with McCullum and the choice for both him and Dr. Swansea. I turned Dawson (still going for the "Not Even Once" achievement) in the interim from Save 2 and leveled up to 24. Save 4 is after the fight with McCullum, the choice with Dr. Swansea (I spared McCullum and then turned Dr. Swansea), all collectibles found, so I'm ready to unlock the True Dragonbane. To do so, starting from the stairs leading down to Talltree and going clockwise, the plates are labeled "Triangle, Square, Fish, Circle". You must press them in this order and wait for the plate to fully stop moving before going on to the next one. Fish, circle, square, circle, fish, triangle. I might add one more save right before the final boss fight.

SECOND UPDATE: I somehow made my character invincible. You still use stamina and blood and vampire vision does not work but you're invincible. Resting does indeed fix the bug, so you're stuck with my powers as long as you want to muck around with it.

THIRD UPDATE: Added one more save, this save is right before the ending of the game. Have 7500 in xp I have yet to spend and I have a fully upgraded True Dragonbane. The only weapons I'm missing are the ones you get for embracing people, I followed this guide to find the remaing ones: http://www.powerpyx.com/vampyr-all-weapons-collectibles-locations-guide/.

Thank you so much, the 5th save FINALLYYY unlocked 'Not even once' for me. Truly this no save system makes this game a nightmare. It was a little bit strange to fight the final battle with traits i've never used :)

Hey thanks for answering, I tried again with the 5th save and again..no achievement, so I don't know!

The "invincible character" save is interesting. I don't know how I managed to do it but the game glitched somehow and caused the invincible state and a few other minor issues. Because of this, I wouldn't trust it for achievement hunting. Use one of my other saves for that, the last one included should be the easiest one to acquire the lore keeper one since all you need to do is start killing people to get the last few items.

Hello, I know it's a bit late..but I used your "invincible character" save to try to unlock "Lore Keeper", I finished finding all the collectibles, weapons, etc and still I couldn't get the achievement :(

The 5th save saved me a lot of time! I just started my own pacifist run until I checked out the guides and used the save here instead! Thank you so much. Just got my last achievement.

These saves really saved me! I replayed the entire game because I've been missing the achievement for years and accidentally drained the guy in the fight against Mary, after completing the game without the achievement it was very stressful, but this guide saved everything! Thank you for making life easier for people like us.

Yeah you right. I tried it just now and it worked. Funny how broken some of these achievements are. I missed a few weapons and still the game gave me the achieves for unlocking all of them.

If it's who I'm thinking of, that citizen died since I opted not to turn a character during a key part of the story. It should not affect the pacifist achievement negatively since I was able to complete the game using these saves and get all of the achievements
