@ALIAScartoons - This demo scenario is great! How could it be transformed into an addon for servers and clients so that the fall of meteors and falling stars could be controlled? I've transformed the scenario code to do that, but am unsure how to manage what is executed by the server and what is executed by the client(s) to make it a useful server-client addon....

The speed of meteors is more or less random. Higher speed is more costly for frames and wouldn't give you the chance to dodge them or just to see and enjoy them. I do not aim to make realistic effects but to create a nice atmosphere and gameplay elements. I tried to use real world physics for sounds, particle propagation but the results are lame and don't work well in a computer gameworld for the simple reason that the scale is different, the point and field of view etc.
So all my chioces are taken from an aesthetic point of view rather than a realistic one, and of course i try to take in account engine and computer performance limitations.
I see and understand your point, i think there is room for optimization and improvement in my scripts, i try to do my best but in the time i have available, thank you for your suggetstion and looking forward for more.

I like the speed. I mean its at the time of the impact still several hundred meters away. Look at a fast car that's about that distance away. It seems to pass you rather slowly. It's a large object and if it would be much faster, the impact would be much much more shaky. Nethertheless it would be nice to have a speed variable for minor adjustments.

Script update only for STEAM for now.
i will make this update the public version if there not issues with performance because it has more effects, effects which i left out from initial release to be on the safe side performance wise.
I will roll back to previous version if there are many people with performance issue.

However if is all good i will make it official and update Armaholic link as well
