Description
This is my recreation of 186 Fleet Street in London, it is a representation of the scene and some creative liberties have been taken.

Whether you believe it to be fact or fiction, the story of the Demon Barber of Fleet Street will remain part of Londons dark history.

On the 16th of October 1756, a child by the name of Sweeny was born at 85 Brick Lane in London's East End to Elizabeth and Samuel Todd, silkweavers for the french Huguenots in nearby Spiltalfields.
At just 14 years of age, Sweeny Todd is sentenced to a five-year term in Newgate Prison, wrongly accused of stealing a pocket watch. It was here that he would meet an old barber by the name of Elmer Plummer, currently serving a ten year stretch for fraud. Plummer would go on to teach him how to cut hair and shave, and how to pick the pockets of customers. Sweeney was a keen learner and soon became Plummer's apprentice boy, lathering-up and shaving some of the prisoners who could afford their services.

After his release in 1775, with a few pounds he had stolen while at work in Newgate, and with the little knowledge of haircuts he had gained, Sweeney Todd opened his barber shop at 186 Fleet Street.

As the story goes, it is here that Sweeny would become the Demon Barber, slicing his victims throats with razor before robbing them. He would dispose of the bodies in a very unique way, the revolving chair had a lever that would tip the blood drained corpse down a hatch in the middle of the shop, to a basement where the Demon Barber would butcher the corpses and sell the meat to Mrs Brown, who would use it in her pies, helping to dispose of the would be victims. If the stories are true, it is believed that Sweeney Todd, Robbed, Murdered, and Butchered over 150 customers. Think of that, next time you go to a barber shop, if there a trap door on the floor, RUN.

I hope you enjoy

Your ride was so impressive! Not that I've been to London, but from the TV & movies I've seen your sets were a phenomenal recreation of the streets! I really liked how as you went through the neighborhood streets, it felt like you had to squeeze through them and from what I understand, some of the really old neighborhood streets are really narrow like that! Great job! :D
