Ninjaneering Guide

Hello there,
today I would like to teach you something you probably didn't know about the Engineer subclass called Ninjaneer. So I guess we can jump straight into it.

Who is Ninjaneer?
Ninjaneer is an Engie's subclass but instead of playing the objective, this Texan tries to sneak behind enemy lines (usually enemy spawn) and put a Teleporter behind the cover where nobody will ever find it.
For the more efficiency, you can actually haul your Sentry gun trough the Teleporter and place it near the important path for the enemy such as backup door or even spawn doors.
His next goal is to distract the enemy that they forget about the objective, giving your team advantage at front.

You can caught the enemy completly off-guard by placing the Sentry or teleporting the teammates behind them so they can take out weaker targets like Medics.
When he should be played?
If you're playing on defense, you should always check if your team has another Engie, who are defending the objective. If your team has one, you can go Ninjaneer. If not, you better watch the objective by yourself.

Also keep in mind that Teleporters should be placed where your team needs to go. So again, if your team already has an Engineer, who builds teles to the front instead behind the enemy, you can clearly unleash your sneaking skill as Engineer.
Loadouts
You can probably take any loadout but I will introduce you some.

Eureka Effect loadout






Primary: Shotgun (doesn't matter)
Secondary: Pistol (doesn't matter)
Melee: Eureka Effect

As you can see, this loadout is about building a teleporter for 25 metal. After you've done that, you can teleport yourself to the spawn (you can also switch to Jag) and build / upgrade your other buildings to level 3. Then (you can switch back to EE) all you have to do is to teleport your other buildings trough.
Use shotgun and pistol to defend yourself but try to be quiet!


Advanced Ninjaneer loadout






Primary: Rescue Ranger
Secondary: Wrangler
Melee: Jag

Basically you need to build your Sentry in passive lines with your team's support. If you can "Sentry jump" by using wrangler, good for you beacuse you'll need it. You'll have to launch yourself to the air and land behind enemy unnoticed. Keep an eye for your ammo capacity beacuse next step will be about teleporting the sentry with Rescue ranger. Watch out for the colored line, enemies can spot you trough it.
Bad thing about this loadout is that you are defensless.


Gunslinger loadout






Primary: Shotgun / Widowmaker
Secondary: Pistol
Melee: Gunslinger

Build teleporter just like I previously mentioned but this time without Sentry. Don't even consider yourself to build the mini Sentry, it will spot your presence. The main reason for this loadout is your primary, if you have decent shotgun aim, this is for you. You can wipe out enemies, who are unaware of their surroundings. Use teleporter to teleport other teammates to help you.
Gamemodes and Maps
The best gamemode for Ninjaneer is obviously, like any other gamemode for Engie, the Payload and Attack / Defend. Sure you can play it on other gamemodes too.

Some maps are designed just like for this subclass and some just aren't. To achive best result, it is best to avoid 1v1 fights or just combat in general before you will place the Tele. Move your gear around the map. There's also insane spots for tele on certain maps like Upward but I don't want to mention that one beacuse it is considered as a Map exploit.
You can turn the teleport's blueprind by alt-fire and that way, you can direct the way your teammates will go.

NOTE: Turning the blueprint against a cliff or pit isn't a good way to play Ninjaneer. That's a class topic for another day...
Final Tips
Be aware of your surroundings

When sneaking, be aware of enemies, do not try to take down a low health enemy. The enemy may spot you when you'll attack on someone.

Teleporter is your number one

Do not forget that your number one priority is the one and only Teleporter. Don't try to build sentry first.

Function

Your main function is to be a distraction. Don't let the entire team teleport trought your tele. Instead, it is good to have at least 1 teammate around you. The other should care about the objective.

i swear gunslinger and frontier justice works well for this since you can just get away after using your crits letting you continue your run. but then again you said these are jost sme so i figure this is to get you introduced.
