500m Glide "Falling with Style" Achievement

Description
Any decent plane can do this achievement, to be fair, but this is what I used. It's pretty well balanced.

• Simply hold [Shift] and [W] to take off (from an open area).
• Pull up with [S] once airborne.
• Climb straight up for about 15 seconds.
• Level off and nose down a little to maintain about 53 mph with no buttons pressed.
• Let it glide for 500m (horizontally), job done.

I also completed the "Aerobatics Is Easy" Achievement with this tech (completing the first gauntlet race without touching the ground) - on my first attempt. But it was kind of a handful turning fast at low level; might benefit from adding a Gyro to stabilise it more.

"Campaign loading" instructions directly above this, at bottom of the item description. If that's what you mean...? (You'll need to have sufficient licences and blocks to load it.)

hovers are the best movement type for me. no fule required and most steerable hovers are 1x1x1 blocks most the time

That's right. There's definitely trade-offs. Booster jets can be more fun and reach up to double the speed of propeller planes.

But you have to fly in spurts of speed and gliding for medium to long distance travel, which can be a little more tiring. And it can be very inconvenient, during aerobatics (flying missions, etc) if your booster fuel runs out and you fall out the sky (on an enemy).

Jets may be faster but they need fuel tanks, while planes have propellers and propellers dont need fuel but there are slower

High praise indeed!:steamhappy: (It's just a silly little thing I made when I was too tired to do more filming...:steambored:)
