Tricky Guide For The Tricky Goblin Trio (Techies)

In this guide im gonna be talking about Techies, everything from early game, all the way to the victory :)

Introduction

So, some of you may ask yourself, who am i to talk about Techies? I have over 200 games as Techies, and i feel like i know what im talking about, also feel free to tell me something i forgot in the comment section :)

Description of Techies

This video here is my source of tips and information, it is outdated, but points Jake makes are still pretty valid, i recommend you to watch it, unless you wanna read a bit :)


So what Techies does? He is ranged inteligence hero who's job is to steal gold and sanity from the enemies via his Proximity and Remote Mines in unexpected and/or smart places, if you play Techies right, you'll have the enemy team on your knees They will want to bang your sister or kill your family, that's indication you're doing your job right

Early Game

In the early game you'll start with Tango, 2 quantlets of strenght, and few clarity potions.
(quantlets are for Soul Ring, which is the most important item for you)

Your first point's gonna go to the Q (proximity mines)

You need to make sure your team gets the bounty runes by making triangular shape on the stairs (1 on the rune itself, and 2 in the corners, so you make triangular shape)

That's gonna deny the enemy the access to your rune Or they will be blown to bits

After few minutes in, you will start to make safe spots with your Q runes (lvl 2 and higher)


Like so, my mid is safe from ganks and he can just run to the mines without the fear of dying.

Make spots like these in your lane, in the middle lane, and your jungle, that way your teammates always have spot to run off to in case of danger.

Pretty good early game right here.

Mid-game Decisions

Now, we're in the mid game, by now you should have your soul ring and your mana boots, perhaps the aghs (or at least most of aghs)

Your main job during mid game is to hold the lane together, hold your runes And make your enemies suffer
Holding the runes

Now for the decisions, look at the enemy pick, if they have Sniper, Bloodseeker, Sven or some heavy form of silence, then buy yourself a Euls, so you can spin out of assasinate or silence, perhaps dodge the Sven's infinity quantlet (Q)

Late Game

Welcome to the late game, this is where you'll see if your teammates worked with what you gave em'.

You have all the items you need as we discussed earlier, now your job is to just HOLD.THE.LANE.

Stack up Remote mines
Use Statis trapes at all times, spam that ♥♥♥♥ where you want, they will save your life!
In this stage, everybody has ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of HP, so in mid game you put like 3-4 Remote Mines, now you need to put 6-8 Remote Mines to ensure the kill.

Tips and Tricks for Techies

1st tip - Know when to pick Techies
Techies isnt great if he cant snowball and get a good early game, so you want to avoid THICC heroes that can survive your Q mines
Examples would have to include Abaddon , Bristleback , Ursa , Centaur and the list goes on, but those are the main ones that can really screw you over

2nd tip - Enemy Jungle
From time to time Enemy team will have few jungle heroes

You need to shut him down, Q the ♥♥♥♥ out of enemy jungle, place R mines on runes if you have them, you have to get into their head, otherwise they will farm and lose you the game!

3rd tip - Force staff, some of you will be like But Floookie i boold Fource Stuoff its so good idz core item bla bla

I buy Force Staff too, against Gem carriers, if they got a gem, and you Force em into the mines and you blow those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥? THAT'S GREAT, they just spend 900 on a gem and that's going to YOUR pocket!

4th tip - Be nice to your teammates, i know, its hard, they might wanna kill you, or they might like you
But you have to be nice to them, otherwise they'll give up and you'll lose

5th tip - We talked about teammates, let's talk about enemies, when you get the gem, YOU'RE GONNA BE TALKING SOME MAD ♥♥♥♥ like "ayy thanks for the green shiny rock"

Conclusion

Be nice towards your teammates, trashtalk the enemy team.
Do your job well and you'll be feeling like a GOD
Following steps in this guide will grant you..ehm...games as Techies, not gonna say Divine rank lol
