A change to the Guisarme reducing marines to incorporate a third armored ammunition store. This also reduces the maintenance cost to $52. Flak guns have been spread out and dearmored due to them tending to blow each other up anyway.

In practice the ship need a bit of micromanaging to get the large dorsal gun and the armored deck guns to overlap. It did have a firepower edge over a Glaivette (all deck guns, no dorsal). In a fleet on fleet action the Glaivette is easier to get all weapons to bear while the Guisarme would be bumping into each other to get into their narrow sweet spots.

The Guisarme was developed to deploy a dorsal cannon heavier than the Glaivette but less than the true heavy cannon of the Glaive. It shares much in common with its cousins and represents the next evolution in design. Maintenance costs have been controlled at $52 per tick. A moderate armor package is used to balance the needs for altitude at ~120 meters. One squad of marines are still present.

Long range cruise resources include surplus crew, a full machine shop and sails as coal-free means of propulsion. Lift will require coal or other burnables to be gathered.

Hull painting is a spectacle of the your heraldic colours, red rust proofing for the belly and sky blue deception zones on the top.

Weapons:
1 of Dorsal turret under layered armor (Pierce damage 70)
3 of armored deck guns upwards (pierce 40, blast 19)
1 of armored deck guns downward
2 of cannons forward
2 of flak guns (they do tend to blow up even if armored)
6 of weapon pods (standard is autocannons for high ROF attacks)
2 of grenade portholes for light bombing duties (now aligned for easier bomb targetting)
1 of squads of marines plus guards

To convert for a heavy cannon (Glaive) planed procedure is to remove the forward flak and upper armored deck gun. That frees up four tiles to fit a heavy cannon.

Flamers, when unlocked, can replace the two forward bow cannon.
