HAL 9000

Advanced, full-screen, flat (and other) versions of the HAL Project screensaver, version 4.0, ported to Wallpaper Engine.

Once available at https://www.halproject.com, this screensaver has since faded into obscurity. I still had it lying around on my hard drive and decided I wanted to use it as a wallpaper instead of a screensaver, so I ported it to WE.

Looks best with icons disabled. Requires the Flash PPAPI plugin, downloadable at https://get.adobe.com/de/flashplayer/otherversions/ (be careful not to install any PUPs, such as McAfee Security Scan Plus).

If you don't like the full-screen version, you can also switch to either the shaded variant or the console version by using the drop-down list under „Properties“.

Yes, there's also this project – http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1383244914 – which is based on the same screensaver, however it is larger in size, supports the flat version only and has a lower quality, less scenes and limited display resolution support due to using a video recording while this wallpaper uses the .SWF files that come with the screensavers themselves.
