About
This map is the starting point for my new Parklife project. Any further changes will be in game as I build. If I can find a way to export the final version, I'll do that when I get there. That said, It's completely playable as is. There's at least a basic level of detail on the whole map, and plenty of more finely detailed spots to find all over. This map was heavily inspired by the Puget Sound, born from frustration with the game limits getting in the way of a true 1:1 remake of Seattle.

The landmass on the left has room for a smaller town or two and some national parks. The mountains are scaled down a bit to give a more distant appearance in the background.

The landmass on the right is for a 1:1 scale city, with a lot of green space and waterfront for parks. The terrain is hilly overall, but there are flat areas along the coast intended for my downtown, port, and airport. None of the hills are too crazy. I plan to use building anarchy to avoid the terrain turning into steps when I build hillside.

Required Mods and Assets

This collection has everything you need. It's pretty essential that you subscribe to everything in it.

Quick overview:
- 81 Tiles is a must, most of the land is out of the 25 in the center.
- Unlimited Trees Mod is mandatory or it'll be all messed up.
- Prop and Tree Anarchy (I've always had it set to load on, though I'm not sure if that's 100% necessary)
- A ton of Landscape props and trees. I did not use a single vanilla tree, so make sure you're subscribed to them.
- Network Extensions 2. I used NExt roads over MT roads because not everyone has MT but NExt is free. There aren't that many of them.
- NotSoRockyHills Theme. The way it handles cliffs is essential.

Visuals
I use the Relight Average LUT with Relight, Shadow Strength Adjuster (80%), Ultimate Eyecandy, Daylight Classic (only stock sun position), Dynamic Resolution, Adaptive Prop Visibility Distance, and PostProcessFx. I'll probably tweak these some more as I go, but to match the screenshots above see my Ultimate Eyecandy and Relight settings on the very last screenshot. The latitude and longitude shown give correct shadows and sun rise/fall directions for when the map is oriented like it is in the second screenshot.
