Shadow Concealment Nerf

Description
Nerfs Reaper's Shadow concealment via adding an extra "ability" (or two) to Shadow.

Details
By default, if a Reaper ends their turn being flanked by a hostile, activated enemy, they will be revealed.

In addition, any hostile, non-movement abilities they do while in half cover or less will add 10% to their next reveal roll. This effectively nerfs silent killer to being more of a delay on being revealed instead of letting the Reaper be a mobile kill confirmer, unless you make sure they're in full cover while performing hostile actions.

This logic can be altered in the mod's XComGameData.ini

Will probably conflict with mods that overhaul stealth abilities entirely. (I mean, at that point you probably don't need my mod)

OK so I've come back to let anyone else who was wondering if this mod works with Peek from Concealment and I can confirm that, as of yet in my current testing campaign, I have seen no issue. Both mods seem to work well in tandem.

Would anybody happen to know if this mod would clash with Peek from Concealment?

I couldn't say. I always play online, though, so I imagine whenever you updated my copy was updated as well.

I can make it more harsh if it feels like if it's not kicking in enough.

(That said was this campaign played with the latest version most of the time? I may or may not have screwed up implementation of it until the June 30 update :v )

Overall, I like the idea of nerfing Reaper stealth a bit, but this mod is so unobtrusive in its implementation (probably more of a limitation of the game's design than any real fault of yours) that it literally never once was of consequence in an Ironman campaign where I was using Reapers extensively from day 1. Not once did that 5% chance to reveal hit.

It works fine, and again, I agree with the principle behind it. But I'm not sure there's a good solution to OP Reapers.

What's the chance to reveal at default, before losing any %?

I'm going to try this out. Sounds interesting.

So, this isn't the right place to post it, but I'm not seeing another way to contact you. But do you do commission work for specific mods? I was hoping to get a standalone perk made to rework Savior in LW2. Idea being to make full-medic builds somewhat more viable.

this seems like a cool idea, if only I felt the reapers were powerful. Templares FTW.

This sounds interesting.

I am a great fan of the mod "Peek from Concealment", it almost makes XCOM2 an entirely different game by turning the concealment mechanic into something that makes you actually stealthy and it has similar mechanics, as in that when you move a soldier to full cover, while in detection range, you aren't getting revealed.

I always find it cheesy how the Reaper can hide in the open, I'd really like try this Shadow Nerf, but PFC is a must at this point for me.

Thanks for the addition.
