Description
This is intended as an optional add-on for the Sparkling Worlds Core Mod but also works on it's own as a stand-alone.
This is incompatible with the SW Full Mod!

The Sparkling Worlds Full Mod contains all features including this one.

This mod adds the Mind Altering Device

Are you tired of your lousy traits?
Pessimist are you? Lazy perhaps? Maybe a bit abrasive?
Have no fear, the Mind Altering Device is here!
Just give it lots of power, jump in and brace yourself for a brand new start!

This mod is based on the original Mind Altering Device mod created by IzzyHRC but discontinued after A16.
Various adjustments have been made but some of the code, textures and general idea are originally from him.

@Caz: I fixed the issue. The problem was actually in the Core Module but it's fixed now.

I think I forgot to change a file in this addon. I'll fix it in a few hours.

Getting an error when this is enabled. Tried unsub/resub and it still gave the error.

Could not resolve cross-reference to Verse.ResearchProjectDef named BrainImplantPrintingSW (wanter=prerequisites)

I dunno bro. Changing a person's backstory could be as simple as implanting false memories... but that goes well beyond simple mind altering. It sounds more along the lines of advanced mind altering because it's a really delicate procedure to completely change how a person thought they lived and also have their muscle memory and stuff adapt to that new false childhood

so how does it work does it change the traits at random or do you have to choose them?
