OT-64 SKOT APC 8x8 (No Mods)

The OT-64 SKOT is an armoured personnel carrier developed jointly by Poland and Czechoslovakia well into the 1960s. It was an answer to the Soviet BTR-60. It is still used in many armies today.

It uses the MART turret script for the turret which is controlled from within the cockpit. The gatling gun is meant to represent the 14.5mm KPV machine gun the original vehicle has.

In order to drive the vehicle, enter the front seat and select "control" on the remote control. The top speed of the vehicle is limited to 94km/h in order to be safe and controllable and realistic. The suspension can be adjusted by use of timer blocks on the second tab of the remote control (Ctrl + 2) to tilt the whole vehicle forward or backwards to help with depression/elevation of the main gun. The power of the wheels is decreased to 30% to give a more realistic acceleration but can be increased when climbing a hill. The ground clearance can be changed from the cabin when going over tough terrain

The rear compartment is meant to resemble a command vehicle variant, as it has less troop transport capabilities and more radios etc. The top hatches can be opened and used as cover to shoot out of using small arms. The vehicle is made out of heavy armour blocks which protects reasonably well against small arms but not anything larger.

As there is no water in Space Engineers the amphibious capability is not replicated unfortunately.
