Description
[Update 10.2.2]:
  • Added Shields
  • Major color and texture update. At some point CCP updated the entire ORE fleet color scheme, so I've made some changes to match.

[Update 9.4]:
  • Now has a potential lift capacity of 1.9 million SU. Testing puts weight capacity somewhere between 80-100kt depending on gravity.
  • Heavy Lift mode added with additional generators, RCS, and engines that can sit idle when not in use.
  • Completely gutted the interior and started over. I think I captured the industrial look better this time around.
  • Reduced build level to 15. Might be a little expensive for mid-level but it's relatively cheaper now.
  • Space for Drill Lasers and Drill Turrets at the front.
  • Added an HV bay. Might have to max out ride-height since ramps couldn't quite reach the ground. This thing sits rather high...

This is a 1:1 scale replica of the Eve Online ORE Venture mining frigate.

Glad you're liking it @Rhettorical!

Yeah some time back in A6 or A7 I took many of my designs down because they were horribly broken due to the many game changes. This might have been the same ship you had before with just a few internal changes. And yeah, the new weights and volumes thing really makes us design a little different and be more careful with our fuel usage, so the switches and levers really help.

Side note: I realized recently that CCP changed the Venture's color scheme (not sure when), but I may have to do another update pass on this ship... :steamfacepalm:

I had a Venture BP from a couple years ago, probably also from you, given the similarities, but the link went down. Downloaded this one and I've been loving it. I'd have liked for the growing pots to be in by default, but otherwise, it's fantastic. Also, maybe I'm just dumb, but it took me a while to figure out what the switches did. Once I figured it out I realized how smart it was to be able to turn the factory and additional thrusters on and off separately from everything else.

Yeah the venture was good fun in the mining complexes. Otherwise I think I mostly flew a retriever for mining. Ore ships are cool :)

Ah okay. It looks amazing tho it does not compair to a eve mackinaw but I low both ships venture i use for risky purposes and the mackinaw mining whit my alt tho I need to get back in Eve but whit this baby no need for eve

Those details are in the last two screenshots, but it's 134m long and the resources needed to build aren't too bad.
