Tinker, intelligence hero has pretty good two spell nuke abilities. The ultimate ability Rearm becomes the central piece of synergy once obtained. Rearm allows refresh on Boots of Travel, tinker's spells and many other item cooldowns. This becomes very potent when combined with Boots of Travel. Now Tinker can teleport to somewhere with full mana, use abilities, rearm to spam again and then Teleport back to fountain for refilling of mana, ready to rinse and repeat again.

First ability Laser has one notictable problem - higher level cost a lot more mana. So, it's a good idea actually to not obtain it so eagerly as the increasing mana will make abilities less spammable after rearm and doesn't really give all that damage anyways. It deals pure damage, so high level heroes, if against them, then Laser spell more favorable. The rocket is the crucial piece ability here, for its range is very far. The casting range provides range in normal situations, and stealth ambush capability in other situations. This spell I hold at a higher favorability than Laser for the points said. It is recommended to get probably 1 level of March of Machines - for the low mana to damage ratio. Also a higher level laser doesn't give that much bonus anyways.

In ganks, Tinker should try to hit once in between spell nukes if time is abundant. Preferbly with a hero that can bait well or has slow/stun. Slow is likely necessary for Tinker to do that 2nd nuking with the Laser after Rearm.

If a few ganks goes well early game then late game should be secured as long as team didn't get really inadhesive heroes. (mainly because Tinker can just fly back after tough/easy ganks, saving a lot of time in comparison to other heroes, thus were given much more gold in a way)

ive been using tinker and its a great hero for noobs as its ranged as well, the "march of the machines" 3rd skill/ability is quite powerful if you reach level 15 and above, opposing heroes in area of effect of 3rd skill run for cover as they lose health very quicly. You will get alot of assists if not kills when you play as Tinker
