Mod ID: 1379153273

About This Mod

This mod adds a "Solar Panel" structure which can be learned at level 59, and requires the generator engram.

Inside the Solar Panel, you can craft Rechargable Batteries. Each battery will give you an extra hour of in-game power after the sun sets. Be sure to craft enough batteries to get you through the night!

This mod is clean and stackable. It only adds the "Solar Panel" and "Rechargable Battery" items, and can be safely added/removed at any time.

these seem to do something, indicated by the batteries charging, but they do not power my electrical grid, is there anything i am missing to hook these things up?

This is not possible to do in ark, since shadows are only visual if you turned them on
And even then i dont think unreal engine is cabable of doing this

So, a question if the solar panel is in shadow, does that effect its efficiency?
I assume it does not, however I seem to have gone from 24 or so hours worth of battery life, to 7...

CrazyGunner I would guess the reason it doesn't work is because vanilla fabricators use gasoline only, they can't be hooked up to a generator at all. An as for the S+ one, well, that's a different mod. So it sounds like a mod mismatch issue. The mod is designed to work with the vanilla structures, and the S+ versions of vanilla structures which already use electricity, should work fine, but not if the vanilla one doesn't use power.

Tried powering both an S+ and vanilla fabricator, and neither work. The fridge works fine. Any idea why?
