How do I mute my microphone?? Hello reddit hello?

INTRODUCTION

Hello there,As you know HTC vive has it's own microphone and that's why you are probably checking this guide out because you have some background noise in your home and you do not want other people to hear it since this game has open mic and no push to talk option. Anyhow... I'll explain how to mute your microphone in a very simple way.

HOW TO DO IT

- What you have to do is click the right button on your mouse at the bottom right corner of your screen where this nice cute sound symbol is.

- Once you do that click on Recording devices

- You there yet? Ah youuu, Alright the next step is to find your HTC vive "Microphone".

- Alright you keyboard assassin, next step is to right click on the HTC vive headphones and select properties.

- So far so good... You have 1 last thing to do now and that is to disable the microphone. Just do what's on the pictures... It's easy as that.

- I hope I was of help so you enjoy multiplayer without worrying if your mom is yelling or if you have breathing problems and don't want to upset your team. Anyhow what you might want to check when you turn off the system and turn it back on, if microphone is still muted. If so it's good if not you have to manually do it everytime you turn on VR experiance or your pc or whatever. Have a good one.

Good news, Pavlov VR has a dedicated button in the settings menu (located in the tab "audio") for muting yourself. This is also 10 times faster than doing this manually on pc.
