---

6th of May, 2024: 1.5 update.
-Firebows have been removed in favour of the Biotech Flamebow, which does effectively the same thing, just at lower raw stats. As with the old Smoke Grenades, these remain in older versions.
-Once I actually get back around to playing RimWorld and purchase Anomaly, I'll make a decision on what to do with the crossbow variants as well as the Plasmathrower.
-Following above, *tentatively* marking this as Anomaly compatible. Let me know if any issues arise!

This mod adds a collection of new, balanced weaponry to the game, with an art style that fits the feel of RimWorld without being excessively stylised. EFW currently adds a host of 16 equippable weapons of all tech levels (up to Spacer) to your arsenal, from humble throwing rocks to miniguns that fire rockets!

I've intentionally left their details a mystery. Let your own curiosity guide you!

COMPATIBILITY
Will be compatible with anything that doesn't alter the vanilla Psychic Shock definition or how toxic/psychic sensitivity works.
Not compatible with Combat Extended. If someone wishes to make a patch for it, go for it, but please do let me know so I can link it here. If you need ammo ideas, I can provide them.
Works out of the box with Dual Wield; you will have to manually set weapons to be onehanded or twohanded. I may look at making this automatic in future.

Updated to 1.4! Admittedly I'm still in a 1.3 save, so was more than a little distracted in terms of updating to 1.4 and Biotech. More is still in the works for this, but I am split heavily between my hobbies, work and other projects, so it'll take some time, but stay tuned!

Have finally gotten back enough to make some changes people had been asking for! The ideas for new mines and a couple of other changes are in the works for the moment, as I wanted to prioritise these balance changes (and a few bugfixes) before any new content was added.

I will also be looking further into trying to reduce the commonality of Rocket Vulcans on Centipedes (for now, they're disabled on them!) and making the Dual Wield setup automatic, alongside my other unpublished ideas. If anyone else has suggestions, feel free to use the Suggestions and Changes thread above! :winter2019happyyul:

@Darmgeknusper The tranq mine would be doable, and I'm sure I could write some thematic lore around how it'd work, although without a mod to change it the vanilla game has a default of 66% chance of instant death-on-downed for AI pawns, subject to change with difficulty/storyteller/scenario. I'll add it to my list for potential implementation next time I do a content update ;)

An orbital chicken army would likely not be the case, mostly as that would require C# to operate, which I am yet to find the time to learn alongside IRL and other projects :winter2019joyfultearsyul:
