This is a good idea for a puzzle but the limited set-up of parts make it, in my view, a tad bit too straightforward. I think some of your latter puzzles are more challenging because they offer distractions and false paths.

just found another bug that breaks this level. you can nudge parts into the forbidden area so that it blocks the repeater and therefore the preventing-solutions-by-blocking-the-laser-permanently mechanism

I don't know if that was a developer oversight or what. I've noticed early access versions of this game had it interact with walls and such. Physics changed now, but I guess its laser blocking ability remains.
