Description
En route to the Lambda Core, Freeman explores the Oasis Arboretum, a recreational facility at Black Mesa, and finds himself forming an alliance with an unlikely individual.

PLEASE NOTE: Following the Necro Patch in April 2024, trying to run this map from the Steam Workshop tab causes Black Mesa to crash. To run this map, please use these launch instructions:

1. Subscribe
2. Run Black Mesa
3. Bring up the console using the "~" key. If pressing this key does nothing, go into your Options, then the Game tab, and set Developer Console to "Yes"
4. Type: map bm_oasis
5. Press Enter.

Just a heads up, I was able to play this, Bravado, and Deep End no problem* just by subscribing. Launched from the Workshop just fine. Awesome short & sweet maps that could be thought of as a bonus chapter of HL1/BM.

*However, it seems like playing one, finishing it & returning to the main menu, then causes BM to crash. For instance, I launched Deep End with no issue from the Workshop menu in-gamee, finished it & it put me back in the main menu, then tried to launch this one, Oasis. That crashed the game. When I booted BM back up and tried launching Oasis, it worked fine.
