Camera Control Tool (using shortcuts) [v1.2]

Description
This tool helps you look at certain items around the table by pressing a shortcut key.
Very useful for anyone making a mod and who wants to add handy preset camera views for players to quickly switch between.

What is this?
This tool has 2 versions: using Scripting Buttons, and using Game Keys
and 2 functionalities: looking at what you're hovering over, and looking at a specific object.

For both, pressing the correct shortcut key shown will orient the camera over an object. The 2 numbers at the top control the pitch (vertical angle) and zoom (distance from the object). The arrow on the right toggles whether the camera rotates to look at the item upside-down or not (useful for objects that might have been imported upside-down, for example)

By default, the camera looks at what you are hovering over. However, you can also set an object by GUID (or simply drop the tool on something to get its GUID) and have the camera look to that instead.
You can use this feature to set many quick camera angles for different objects in your mod! (you'll need multiple copies of the tool for each camera angle you want to save)

The difference between the Scripting Buttons version and the Game Keys version is the key that the player will press.
- With the Scripting Buttons version, the player must press the Scripting Button of the matching number. Those are set to Numpad 0-9 by default, and you can't have more than 10.
- The Game Keys version creates a Game Keys with the name "Look at X", where X is the name of what you put in the middle of the tool. A user can set any shortcut for that camera angle, and it will be remembered each time they reload that mod. They are, however, not bound to any key by default, and the player MUST set it themselves. You can find them under Options -> Game Keys.

Feel free to drop it in your mods as a tool! You can credit me or not.

Planned to add:
- A version that can set a different GUID for each player color pressing the shortcut

Could you consider implementing this feature?
It would be even more convenient than typing keys on the keyboard.

Not currently, but it would be easy to make a version with a button that moves the camera, yes

Hello Unreal Ed,
would it be possible to change camera directly by clicking on your item camera?

Hi guys!!!! Just want to say that the first method is IN TTS. All you have to do is set your camera however you want then hold CNTRL and press any number 1-9 (0 is for the hotseat and relates to everyone). If you want to recall the camera just hold SHIFT and press the number. Here is a pro tip - you can use use 3rd person view (you are automatically in this when you enter) and have the camera at an angle. If you shift to 1st person view by pressing 'P' then it will shift your view to directly down on your item, so its like getting two cameras for the price of one!!!! This mod is great for the name one. Here is the webpage: https://kb.tabletopsimulator.com/player-guides/camera-states/

Shocked this wasn't in the game in the first place. Makes unscripted games with complex boards a joy. Thanks, Ed!

You can suggest the feature on here: https://tabletopsimulator.nolt.io/

Thanks for the tool! Stumbled upon it while looking for instant cameras. It doesn't solve that issue but it does help me ensure my friends online will have access to the cameras I set up in my mods.

When will they add instant cameras? Even at 1000 rotation speed, these movements tend to make us sick. We want that TV vibe! ^^

The camera "cards"? If you mean the camera-shaped TOKENS, they SHOULD have numbers in them, like in the images above. If not tell me what you're seeing because that sounds like a bug

I feel like I'm missing something obvious, but the camera cards in my game don't have the white text boxes with numbers and letters on them. Like the idea, but dunno how to make it work :(
