Description
Relive your childhood in this recreation of Geauga Lake (Six Flags Worlds of Adventure). Prior to its closure in 2007, Geauga Lake was a destination cherished by many in Northeast Ohio and surrounding areas. I am bringing it back to real life (virtually). Scenario: Manage this park better than its previous management ever did and prevent it from closing...again. Feel free to tack on the "5-year plan" (Volcano, extended monorail, and 200 foot hypercoaster) originally planned for this park before being sold after the 2003 season. Spent over 2 years building this (very slowly) and used hundreds of my own photos, archived 2002 and 2006 park maps, online photos, archived google earth photos, rcdb, and video footage. Please don't forget to give me (Neezy216) credit if any assets are taken out.

Geauga Lake was and will forever be better than cedar (take my money) point. That place has no personality compared to GL. It's a true shame they let it die!

StJeffco, I hope you do get to up load it. This being my home park as well I'd love to have the Cedar Fair version... maybe with the coaster "Volcano" that never came to be. Anyway good luck and I'll keep any eye out for your version.

I have always wondered what would have happen if seaworld ohio doubled or tripled in size by being successful in there original offer to buy the six flags ohio/geauga lake side of the park instead of the opposite offer by six flags happening and now I will build the dream using your creation here as a template and fulfill my fantacy because of your creation I don't have enough patients to build it all on my own and I can't thank you enough for putting this up for download. I really appreciate your hard work and dedication to this.

Nice, thank you. I was going to build this as a diffrent scenerio in 2020. The what if Six Flags took sea worlds offer and made it all sea world geauga lake still as one great big park. what if it was still open today as such and what sea animal attractions were added or relocated within the main theme park side so there is a nice blend of animals on both sides, what if sea world had to rebrand all the coasters and some of the rides and built a new larger shamu... now orca stadium/encounter and dine experiance equal to the size of orlando on the theme park side. and both entrances got new paint and signage. I em not going to be sharing this anyways so I downloaded and plan to use what you have built and remodel everything from what you have built for my personal pleasure and if I ever change my mind and share it I will ask your permission and give you credit for the original creation and note that I remodeled it to sea world geauga lake both parts.

Nice start. This version is when things started to go downhill when it became a six flags. it was so much better as just Geauga Lake . You should take the time to fill it out and detail it then you might have something. The original Geauga lake was smaller and seemed more dynamic with the kiddie park up int front of the Big Dipper. Sure wish it had more decorating done to create the true charming character of this park that was a summer staple for so many

Just today I drove past the barren wasteland that is all that is left of Geauga Lake. Spent so many summers at that awesome place. Amazing job on a very accurate recreation. Thanks for sharing this.
