Autobot Base

Description
"Autobots! Roll Out!" - Optimus Prime.

Crashing into Mt St. Hilary some 4 million years ago, the Autobot Ark was reawakened by the dormant volcano's eruption in 1984. Upon reawakening, the ship's computer, Teletraan 1, set about adapting and repairing all Cybertronians (Transformers) within it's medical scanner range and preparing them for their new environment. Autobot Base was originally not armed to defend itself until sometime between 1986 and 2005 when it was equipped with concealed cannons. Until then, it primarily relied on Omega Supreme. Autobot Base was used by all Autobots until Autobot City was built sometime before 2005. With the city built, Autobot Base was evidently used by the smaller Autobots until it's destruction at the hands of Trypticon around 2005-2006.
This blueprint is not to scale (Mt St. Hilary would be far too large,) but it's a practical replica of the Autobot's base. The bridge is quite good giving a scale that shows beings larger than humans piloted this craft before it's crash. It's technically a small base with large hangars, most of the materials needed to construct the volcano, being a Tier 3, level 12 build. The lower hangar is open and the entrance is equivalent to a 14x7 door, with the top hangar having two 14x7 doors joined to allow larger SV's and very small capital ships inside. Except the hangars, it's fully oxygenated and has most equipment you'll need. I will attempt to do the Decepticon underwater base (DSC Victory) at some stage.
I would like to keep it authentic and not have weapons, but that is not practical for E:GS, so I have put in concealed turrets similar to those seen in The G1 cartoon episode The Five Faces of Darkness (don't forget to open the shutters before activating the weapons.) If you wish to go authentic, you can also spawn my Omega Supreme Blueprints in the area to further protect the base. Teletraan 1 has been placed as an advanced constructor in the bridge.
Thanks so much to unexpectedpanda of tfw2005.com for the sketches he did of the Ark floorplans.

Hi webmetalreese. I hope you and the family are well after the big shake-up.

Hi webmetalreese, that's sad to hear about Small Red Dragon. At least he enjoyed a good life with a rider that appreciated him. The VFR has been up and going for a while. I took it along the Great Alpine Road here in Victoria in late January. Has a take off issue with it sputtering (likely wrong sized idle jets from the Chinese carby rebuild kit I put into it.) Once it starts revving it goes very well, hit 150kph with no effort. It's currently sitting in the garage awaiting me to rip the rear suspension out for a rebuild and put the original jets back in the carbies. Then when the winter is over I begin repairing and respraying the tank and fairings. ATM I am working on a campervan to get that on the road. All the best with getting a new bike.

Currently looking at listings to see what my next project could be, I'm leaning towards a popular bike here called "The Wolf." Only issue for me is that 99% of the bikes here do not round robin and only have 4 gears, I hate thinking of being in 4th and not just hitting neutral on my next forward shift, you literally have to back which I guess makes sense for all the mountain roads here, but I rather liked seeing a stop and coasting to stop in neutral haha.

@itto123 Hey! I contacted them and discussed options, sent some pictures and they responded by telling me there was simply nothing they could do in order to get the engine going again that would fit any budget less than "I have so much money, just do whatever." Since the bike and it's parts have been discontinued for almost 30 years, they said my best chance would be to head to Korea and scour the scrapyards there. So...it had it's life, but it's over. I'm currently tearing it down for salvage and honestly no one is even asking about the parts I've posted (other than "WTF is that tank for?)
How about your ride? Everything working out on your end?

Thanks alot for the link as well, Taichung is a bit of a trip and hauling isn't cheap, but I'll contact them regardless.

Hi webmetalreese. Wreck-Gar and the hull of Lugnut is complete. Wreck-Gar came up better than I expected. I've designed Lugnut as more an atmospheric gunship with limited void usability, just like the retro WWII bomber he's based on. To complete Lugnut, do you want him to be authentic with no shield and warp drive (likely making him a tier 3,) or do you want a tier 4 with everything?

Hi webmetalreese. I thought the problem was the third gear. If so, these guys sound like they can help:

They are in Taichung City, Taiwan.

Thanks for the suggestions, but I've spent hours and hours trying to salvage the parts for it and I know that site as well as a couple of others that scrap bikes for parts. Unfortunately for this particular model it was only on the island for two years before they stopped manufacturing them due to tank issues with corrosion and the humidity/rain they simply took that frame and created the next bike in the line.

The engine is where the issues are for her and I tried finding another engine to simply replace it with but the shifting and gear ratio are incompatible due to the round robin shifting as well as having 5 gears as only two other bikes have 5 and the common ones have 4.

When I first bought the bike I had the engine completely rebuilt due to the similar issues and I found a Canadian/Taiwanese guy was here with his father and they actually machined new parts for it, but now he's married with 3 kids and went back to Canada and his father retired.

Kymco is basically unheard of in Australia, only beginning here in 99. I did a quick Google search and found something that may help.

It seems to be some kind of club that may be able to put you in touch with someone parting/breaking/wrecking a bike that will suit. If you want to go all out, you can pull the bike down yourself and get someone who can make you what you need, but I imagine that will be difficult without a garage and you will likely need special tools to work on Dragon's innards.
