Take the role of one of the most influential nonviolent icons, Gandhi, and try to protect your allies from Catherine's invasion! Use every nonviolent mean at your disposal, from diplomacy to espionage, to build the road to peace! But beware, she has an army that can crush your civilization, so avoid any military conflict and win the game!

To play this mod, from the main menu chose "Mods", then click on the tick next to "Nonviolent Challenge". Then, click on next and choose the "Nonviolent Challenge" Map and tick "Play a Scenario".

This is a nominated mod for the E-virtuoses Awards in the category Serious Gaming. It was developed in partnership with the Association “Nonviolence XXI” from Paris. We are second-year students in Game Design looking to create a mod where the player is encouraged to use effective nonviolent means to win the game. Feel free to give us your feedback!

This mod is available in both English and French.

Incarnez un des plus influents représentants de la nonviolence, Gandhi, et essayez de protéger vos alliés de l’invasion de Catherine ! De la diplomatie à l’espionnage, usez de moyens nonviolents mis à votre disposition afin de créer un chemin vers la paix ! Mais prenez garde, elle a une armée capable de dévaster votre civilisation, alors évitez tout conflit militaire et triomphez !
Pour jouer à ce mod, choisissez “Mod” depuis le menu principal du jeu Civilization V Gods & Kings, puis cochez la case à côté de “Nonviolent Challenge”. Ensuite, cliquez sur “Suivant” et sélectionnez la map “Nonviolent Challenge” et enfin cochez l’option “Jouer un scénario”.
