Starship Troopers Mod is now discontinued

I have decided to stop continuing the Starship Troopers mod at this point , as i have lost interest in it due to my Arma modding skills lacking in all areas .

I was hoping by now we would have more developers on board with this project as i always wanted to be in the background and not the main developer.

I appreciate all the support from the ARMA community .






Starship Troopers Mod [Alpha]

The bug models and some props are from the Starship Troopers game that was released in year 2005 by Strangelite Studios.
credit go's to Strangelite for base models,textures and sounds.

Model bugs

1/ warrior
2/rhino
3/Chariot


In the Edit Warrior bugs and Chariot Bug - object specific

Ground Effects = if ticked then bug will spawn Particle Effects to simulate breaking through the ground.
they should all now attack with in a range of 1000m

The Warrior bug can pick you up and hurt or kill you
The rhino bug will charge at you and if hit will send you flying and die
The Chariot is a simple bug and will kill you over time


small fix
i have made it a bit easier to the warrior bugs but still needs work

I am big believer in ARMA being a sharing community , All I do benefits me as well as others .
I always Give credit where credit is due
I do not claim any model or its content as my own unless i have made it myself.
Some people class changing all or part of a mod without permission stealing . Stealing is not my intention , My intention is to share the mods with the Arma community so we all benefit .
If someone is not happy with me porting content over from a previous game then feel free to spend countless hours making the mod from scratch
