NEMISIS CUSTOMS: Koishikawa Arsenal Type 14 Nambu Pistol Custom: 'Cutlass Of The Rising Sun'

This gun was used by the Pirate Empress Xeo, a former agent of the Soviet Union's Top Secret Human Weapons Project, OKB-H, otherwise known as Project: Nemisis. The gun has little modification, except for a stronger 9mm cartridge, a heavier 9mm barrel and a striking colour scheme similar to that of the Japanese Flag.

Xeo ended up in Russia because of the Soviet Occupation of the Islands north east of Japan, off the coast of Siberia. These were known as the Sakiyama Islands. These islands, home to a prosperous empire, were fought over between the Soviets and Americans in conflicts never reported in the press. Xeo, who thanks to an encounter with the legendary immortal samurai, Kashiku Yamamoto, who introduced to her the sacred waters of the Fountain of Youth, long since lost to the sands of time, became immortal upon drinking the mystic liquid.

One day, the conflicts reached the empire, and soldiers from both Project Nemisis and its Western Rival, the CIA's Project Phantom fought within the city streets. Though casualties on both sides were few, the same could not be said for nearly the entire male population of the empire, the majority of whom were killed trying to defend their women. Xeo lost her older brother to Nemisis Titan, watching every horrible moment unfold right in front of her.

She was promptly abducted and taken back to OKB-H's remote Siberian fortress headquarters, Fort Steryka. Originally, she was put to work in the 'Joy Division', being a comfort girl to many of the soldiers that worked there. However, after an incident where she was forced to kill a particularly unruly soldier, she caught the attention of Shadow Field Marshall I. V. Romanov, and was modified under Dr. Karl Eithelburg's Process H.

She subsequently spent several years serving as a sailor under Nemisis Buch, himself an immortal former pirate captain. By the time she reached the age of 18, she ceased to age, yet did grow exceptionally large breasts. Her hair also turned a bright shade of fire engine red as a side effect of the waters Kashiku introduced to her. She idolised Buch, despite her extremely feisty nature. He would always tell her stories of his days as a pirate captain.

She met a young child soldier named Nemisis Omen one day, and the two became friends, in spite of her constantly belittling him and treating him like a kid brother, although it was really out of a strong affection. The two would often have sea adventures together, Omen subsequently bringing his own strike force with him, making Xeo the 'Honorary Admiral of the Ocean Sea' of the group's jointly-created imaginary country, Chernyyia.

When Omen was presumed killed in the Romanov incident in 1986, subsequently being framed the world's first and only nuclear terrorist, Xeo, who knew the true side of the story, defected in disgust, crying her eyes out when she finally returned home and took power as a pirate with her crew of all female marauders. She and Omen would not meet again until 1989, when Omen would help regain the Sakiyama Islands' independance.
