TFD-138 'KAYUT' V1.1: A Bounty Hunter's Delight SV (7.6.wut) PvE

Description

Hi, it's been a min since I've uploaded here. I built this in half a day; forgive any ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. -JRS86

PLEASE HAVE A LOOK AT THE SCREENSHOTS
I have taken the time to deconstruct the entire ship for your viewing pleasure!

==================

UPDATE V1.1
- a couple minor/hidden parts have been painted
- Battle mode in conjunction with the cabin light and entry hatch has been greatly improved
- better/more meaningful naming of circuitry
- fixed non-firing 130mm rockets

PREFACE
Ever want to strap your wagon to a set of big ol' nasty fusion-powered warpjet engines and see how far it'll take ya before it shakes ya? Here's your chance! Grab the KAYUT today and enjoy it's fantasticly raw horsepower and great security features and FANTASTICALLY RAW HORSEPOWER!

This badass ride is designed for one thing: outrun the competition. Fancy a life profiting on the economic prizes awarded for fenced goods, stolen rides, CHOPPED HEADS? What the fffff is a KAYUT??? We here at JRS86 Shipyards think that it's irrelevant; just buy the dang ship!

***** LOW COST REQUIREMENTS FOR THE EXPERIENCED BOUNTY HUNTER! *****

MAIN FEATURES
- BATTLE MODE: Forces thrusters, hull lights, red alert lights, weapons ready. Works regardless of the toggle position in your ship's main menu in regards to system overrides. (updates to come)

- STRIP WEAPONS: and other items (4 largest jest thrusters, warp?) that raise the spawn level on this [in creative mode, of course] to be able to spawn this in as early as 10, even sooner if you downconvert blocks and check up any other gear removals. (weapons loadout to be updated)

- PEDAL TO THE METAL: With its modified hybrid Top-Fusion Dreadster powerplant, the KAYUT delivers blistering acceleration and deceleration forces like you've never experienced, along with face-melting top speeds. Go big or GO HOME! (be sure to bring extra fuel in storage!)

- RACESHIP-LIKE HANDLING: Massive thrusters in the rear aren't any useful if you can't turn quickly to keep up. KAYUT is outfitted with the latest in Hyperstatic Suspension technology with its levitating wing and dynamically-stabilized missile units; wipe the skies of even the craftiest and nimblest of enemy fighters!

- SAFE TRAVELS: While light on amenities, this ship does include a little bit of everything, including (but not limited to): 3 small storage boxes and 3 small ammo boxes with accompanying constructor station; 2 comfy custom-upholstered passenger seats, stitched to match the pilot seat; preconfigured systems for absolute ease of use!!!

NOTES
Originally inspired by this neat little Ferrari engine and its included screenshots (and the author's other works, of course). I wanted to build a ship that was centered around the design of a somewhat "realistic" looking powerplant, at least in regards to the overall not-so-distant-future-look. It also needed to handle like a hot rod, look the part, and have at least a reasonable amount of functionality with some economy in mind.

I don't really think this ship would be in the least bit suitable for PvP, though I'm sure it'll hold up to most scenarios in PvE/solo. Also, this was conceived, built, and screenied in less than a day. Forgive me, but V1.0 may be a bit rocky.

IMPORTANT: Don't use any of the switches under "General", except Power and Oxygen. For the rest, either use the physical switches in the ship, or the ones on the far right hand column of the Main tab. There are only two physical switches; one for the Battle mode and the other for the storage cabinets.

The logic circuits are simple, and I'm not entirely sure I've set up everything as best as it could be, but it works. I personally recommend leaving everything in the right column of the Main ship tab to the OFF position, and then just use the Battle switch to basically serve as an on/off switch for the whole ship.

@Nicky thanks, it blows me away that people are still checking out this ship over 3 years after I last updated it. Does it still work???

@NautTdog I've definitely given it some consideration, I'm just finding it a bit difficult to be motivated to play this game again. I actually already have a plan in mind on how to redesign it, just need to get to that point where I want to do it! :(

I for one wouldn't mind a rework of this beauty!

Thanks @roughriden, much appreciated! Was a fun project to work on. I haven't played Empyrion in quite a long time, nor do I really have any ideas for things I'd want to build, but maybe someday I'll get back into it ;)
