The Unperturbable's Pros and Cons
Walani STATS: Hunger-200 (x1.1 drain) Sanity-200 (x0.9 sanity aura) Health-120
Wilson STATS: Hunger-150 Sanity-200 Health-150

Nickname: The Unperturable
Motto: "forgive me if i don't want to get up. i don't want to"
Instrument: ukulele (out-of-tune)
personality: sassy but mostly a relax attitude
age guess: 16-18 and due to her slang and lazy teen attitude im guessing she was caught around the
80's and 90's although surfer slang date's back to the 50's

PROS
+ fast and super cheap Craftable Surfboard (1 board and 2 seashells)
+ 20% drying faster
+ relativity good stats (opposite of Wigfrids stats)

MIX
+/- x0.9 sanity aura (gains sanity 10% slower and lose sanity 10% slower)

CON
- x1.1 hunger drain (barely a downside)

Surfboard vs Armored Boat
The surfboard is great starting item as it allows you to explore the map, find special locations and item like gold, silk, treasure and even the volcano much earlier then other characters, it also helps that her surfboard is the fastest base speed and being the cheapist however it's not recommeded for fighting.

Surfboard cost: 1 board and 2 seashells (good cause you'll need those boards for other things)
health: 100 (while moving it loses 1 hp every 9.6 seconds lasting 2 days)
base speed: 6.5

+ can hold item in hand like torchs and lanterns
+ surfboard can be picked up (going around the island is a wasted of time)
+ small wave acceleration x5 big wave acceleration x7
+ gains +1 sanity per wave (she can live on RAW seaweeds and limpets with no downsides)
- 1.5x wetness when hitting waves
- can't use cannon, sails, boat lanterns or trawl nets

Armored boat cost: 6 boards, 3 rope and 10 seashells
health: 500 (while moving it loses 1 hp every 3.84 seconds lasting 4 days)
base speed: 6 (iron wind will increase speed up to 9 but only last 4 days and will cost you gear every 25% used, plus you need to defeat the sealnado)

+ can use cannon, sails, boat lanterns or trawl nets
- can cost you alot of materials and time
Tubular tips 'n' tricks
>The 20% drying faster combined with umbrella makes Walani 100% water resistance

>Since you get nothing from hammering a surfboard, recycle them for bridge between islands

>During early game she can eat any sanity draining foods and then recover by riding the waves

>If your in the middle of the ocean and your boat is nearly broken use the surfboards

>Place a extra surfboard on the coast on islands with a touchstone so if you die you have a easy
way back to your base

>Unless you have enough for armored boat don't waste materials for other boats besides
surfboards

>A Captain Hat may make the use of a single Surfboard more worthwhile, as it will delay gradual
loss of normal boat durability.

>A Cargo Boat with a Cloth Sail will have the same speed as the Surfboard but an Armoured Boat
will go faster, not accounting for the extra speed riding waves the Surfboard grants. This means
that the Surfboard is mainly only useful during the early game.

>Due to her early exploration, Walani can find volcano, yarrchtopus, favorite island, slot machine
much earlier than other characters
Walani Good, O.K. or Bad?
overall she o.k but slighty toward the good, Walani is great for early exploration and she make water/sanity much less of a threat, i think she definitily better then Wilson in Shipwrecked cause all Wilson has overheating issues and easy beardhair which can easily farmed with elephant cactus while Walani has a cheap 'n' fast craftable surfboard, water resistance, easy sanity with pratically no downsides which confuses me why people like Wilson but not Walani.

anyways for my first guide whatch think? is there anything i can improve? sorry that there aren't any images i don't know how.

The word Dude became prominent in surfer culture in the early '60s, but it wasn't until the mid-'70s that it started creeping into the mainstream. Some usages in pop culture have contributed to the spread of this word.
