How to fix missing sample.wad! :D

If you have a problem playing single-player half-life then follow this guide! If you try to play single-player it might say "ERROR: couldn't open sample.wad" then right click on half-life in your games. Go to local files and press browse local files. Scroll down to the bottom (around there) and find any .wad file, I used halflife.wad, copy that file and paste it. rename it to "sample.wad" It should work now! and if for some reason you want to add a wad file instead, but don't want to copy an existing one (maybe you're distributing a texture pack or something), you can open an empty file called "sample.wad" in a hex editor and put in the bytes 57 41 44 33 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00

if you're getting this error the simplest way to fix it is to do either:
a) turn off "Allow custom addon content" in the settings
b) open console and type r_wadtextures 0
