We tried the map and didn't have too much issues. We were a bit stupid with the two lazers, but other than that it wasn't too bad. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c2wWssoZfPA

When you are stuck, pressing the only pedestal button available seems like a good thing to try out if you ask me. That button triggers the floor for the 2nd player and the paths should become clear.

I'm not trying to be toxic or anything. I'm just telling people to not give up or stay in the first room and move on to the rest of the puzzle depite feeling stuck. When I said "poorly designed", I meant the author could put a sign or something to tell people to trigger the floor or leave their teammate for a moment.

@Whebon and @Ninja, or maybe instead of just randomly pressing things, we like to deduct the solution based on our enviroment? I helped my friend get up there, then we were trying to figure out how I can join him. We were about to give up cause no path up existed for me when my friends said let's at least see what the puzzle is like and began pressing the buttons. Only then I was dropped to the floor below and the solution became obvious.

For people who think this is broken at first, like my friend and I, it isn't broken just poorly designed.
