Small utility survival HV

Update 9/9/2020 - Fixed a blocked thruster issue brought up in comments. I altered the design a bit again, adding 1 additional thruster to the back, removed two hidden front thrusters (blocked), and added a bit more harvest storage with extra CPU available. Also I corrected the storage listed which used to be 5.7K which was listed as 6.7K. The new actual storage is 6.3K. Also I again updated the stat screen shots.

Update 9/8/2020 - Updated to game version 1.x. Changes made:

Removed all RCS, reconfigured thrusters, added 6.3K harvest storage, wifi, detector, harvester, armor locker, and minigun turret. It is now CPU tier 1 100% compliant. I had to remove the constructor do to CPU limits at tier 1. Updated the stat screen shots. The unlock level also went from player level 3 to 5. I switched the color palette to the MSS standard color palette and updated some textures/colors. Added 2 new screen shots at end of picture show showing changes made to rear of craft (also with shutter doors now


The Scarab-HST is designed as a very low level practical vehicle. It only requires small amounts of 3 basic resources to build and unlocks at player level 3. I am not fan of the default motor bike much and built this to be a replacement as soon as possible. It comes with two gatling guns, 1 constructor, 4 large storage boxes, ammo box, oxygen and o2 dispenser. You will find all of these items laid out for easy access on the back of the vehicle. It has 2 extra weapon mount points and 1 turret mount point. It isn't much to look at, but this vehicle was all about being practical and useful for fresh game starts.

Features summary:

1. Unlocks at player level 5
2. Inexpensive, no rare resources
3. Fridge, armor locker, o2 and station, WiFi, detector, spot light (P Menu control)
4. 6.7K harvest storage, 100 ammo storage (enough for 1000 15mm rounds which both gatling guns and minigun turret use)

Note: It moves with the nose up in the air slightly which I found useful as it tends to pass over rough terrain easier and not get stuck much. Also being as small as it is, getting through forests etc. is doable.

I have to say this probably the best ship ive ever downloaded on the workshop, even now with a couple of basic tweaks, it still works perfectly for whatever i need, whether it be land transport, mining both wood or ore, or base defence. 5/5

Thank you S.T.A.R.S- SSSV and krazywulf1983! @krazywulf1983, when near the HV, press P on the keyboard and on the main tab you should see a managed button near the fuel and o2 sections. This would allow you to add fuel from your person or a cargo system. I hope that helps and thanks again!
