UK Terrace of 8 Victorian Houses (RICO)by pauljchris

Conversion of my first ever publicaly released asset originally built back in 2010 for CitiesXL now enhanced and adapted for Cities Skylines. See also the version without a front garden and the 2 other models in this series as they are designed to be placed together. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1290549106

Originally a 5 x 5 model, I reduced the rear garden length by 10m to make it more compatable with growable 4x4 assets but has to be a RICO only model to preserve the correct scale. Useful to add to existing custom assets for a UK building theme and combines well with other similar growable assets.

Maps d, i, s, n all 512 x 512

A number props were used for the back gardens and garden furniture. See list to the right. The asset will load without these , but the fence assets are the most essential. These are mainly the same assets used in MacWelshmans popular UK housing packs, so if you have these then you will already have the required props.

If RICO is not enabled , this asset will load as a L2 monument without any functionality

Lights dont come on at night and the building cant be placed on a slant. Which if you're british you'll know is something that we have, lots of slopes.

Letting you know that there's an asset missing from your list as it keeps showing up as an error in The Loading screen mod report that gets generated.

UK Housing Props: Rotary Washing Line

I now have this item, listed above, in my list of assets, and the Loading Screen Manager shows it as being used by your Victorian Terraced Housing. It's visible in your images above, but I keep getting the same error report (missing asset)

It's not a game breaker, it's just an annoyance.

Yes your screenshot is the way I intended them. The dark brick is realistic in terms of being close to how the real world houses look. If you want to lighten them up , then one way to do this quickly is to load them into the asset editor, change the material colour options (all 4 ) to be a lighter grey and then re-save the asset under a slightly different file name to your local folder.

This works for me, but all 4 of your terraced house assets seem to be too dark. This is them with sunlight directly on them - they're darker than the other asset, and much darker than the piece that's under the mouse pointer. Is this intentional?

Odd things happen sometimes Paul, conflicts etc. We can't all know everything. If I do get it working in the future will still cover this.

hmm. not sure at all. Ay one else havet his issue? I am subscibed to the workshop item ok and not using my local copy.

Wanted to cover this asset in What Map, but can't get it to load. It appears in Content Manager but the Activation option is greyed out and unclickable. Regardless, I tried using the Loading Screen to ALL assets, but it doesn't appear in RICO, or by using Find It, or in the Monuments menu. Any ideas?
