How to fix

1. Open game folder (right-click Borderlands 2 in steam > local files > browse local files. Then go into the Binaries/Win32 folder)

2. Right click Borderlands2.exe and open the Compatibility tab

3. Check "Disable full-screen optimisations"

4. Check "Run this program in compatibilty mode for:" and select Windows 7


Done. My fps went from 30-40 to 150-250

Everyone saying this does or doesn't work. Can you specify CPU and GPU brand or model, its likely optimisations for specific brands drivers causing it which is why turning off optimisations makes it worse for some people. For some they actually do improve performance for some they make it worse but that doesn't mean nobody should do this and might help people figure out if this fix will help or not.

Wtf. Somehow this made my game from 120-144fps to like 20-30 fps. Did not work me lmao.

I don't know why this guide has such a low rating. It worked for me, from 20-30fps in battles (like 10 enemies) to 90-120fps.
