injured Ai

Injured Ai mod provide a little more realistic fight against Ais for the player.
When player shot ais , there is a chance that ais fall down with ragdoll and injured and unconscious with animations and begging for help.

- Ais unconscious with animations and sounds

- Ais teammate will try to help by dragging injured guy and heal him

- Injured Ais will die if not get help in 2 minutes

The mod can run only on the server.

How to use:

Just move injured ai mod to your mod folder.


Disable the mod for a mission:


dam_injured_ai = false;
publicVariable "dam_injured_ai";
exclude a unit from mod:

put this code in unit init

this setVariable ["dam_ignore_injured",true];

Hello, we are trying the mod version, but it doesnt seem to do anything.. what should we try to test it 100% proof?

Only works singleplayer or from the editor choosing multiplayer, as a test...

it wont work serverside...

Ace parameters , medical for players and IA, enabled and IA unconsciousness disabled.

I've noted when you shoot and kill an enemy soldier whose dragging his buddy, the soldier being dragged continues to magically move to the drag point even though there's nobody physically dragging him towards it. Sorta comical and I can live with it since it's only occasional.

However when using this mod with ACE, I've noticed that I'm sometimes not able to drag a downed AI teammate. The ACE drag or carry options just don't show up under the Interaction menu. That's a tough one to overcome - nothing worse then not being able to drag a buddy out of the line of fire because of a glitch.

Two questions:
1) Does the AI ignore death and auto resort to unconscious with this mod?
2) Does this mod activate automatically, or does it have to be activated via a module or script?

@WhiteDevil, It works, but not completely last time I tried messing with it. It does work properly if you disable the correct ace options on ai, however unless its been fixed in the change that happened today with no changelog attached, the script heals them with vanilla game medical, not ACE medical, basic or advanced. So while the ai unit may be counted as "treated" and get back up and join the fight, they are still actually bleeding out from ace inflicted wounds.
