Nafeys 1850 Universal Stake Car

Nafeys 1850 Universal Stake Car allows you to transport any base game goods with this wagon and can see what is being transported easily using the base game cargo models.

1890 version found here:
1950 version found here:

My thought is: If they have gone to the effort of putting cargo in boxes, containers or tanks, why not load these on to the wagon as they are?!
I haven't created any new assets.
It's using the base game rungenwagen 1850 stake car model.
If you think you can help me make it better, let me know.
Also, if you use this in a let's play or similar, send me the link. I'd love to see it in action!

I'll give it a go. Thank you very much for liking it!

This mod's great, but I was wondering if you could make it compatible with the New Industry mod? It's able to load the cargo by default, but even when a train of 5 of these is full, none of the New Industry cargo sprites show up. Which makes me sad. Just a small cosmetic tweak, though- other than that, this mod is PERFECT for me- I absolutely HATE traincars that don't visibly represent their cargo. Doesn't matter what you load it with, a tank car's always the same. But with this? You can, at a glance, see what your train's hauling. Which is beautiful, and I sincerely thank you for this mod!

Higher loading time sounds good to me! Like that one coach which takes longer to load but can hold more passengers.

what I could do is double the loading/unloading time - does that sound fair?

I haven't thought about game balance as it just started as a hobby. I could reduce them to carry 3 but that seems a bit small...

A great idea and the cars look great.

Thinking about game balance, would these carry less than the wagons built for the job? or perhaps weigh and cost a little more to make it a trade off to use them. Not sure what you think about that idea though.
