Thank You. I think I tried it and there was some kind of issue. Since it was in 2017 I don't remember what it was.
I was lurking trough files of that mod and i know one thing that can be done better:
instead of:
{ "type" : "trinket", "chances" : 1, "data" : { "rarity" : "bloat" }}
you can use
{ "type" : "item", "chances" : 1, "data" : { "type" : "trinket", "id" : "infected_flesh", "amount" : 1 }}
and repeat for every trinket. In that way you will have 1 shared real rarity instead of 42 rarities with the same graphic.
Why does this mod change the monsters info files?
As in trinkets that drop from specific mobs?
